up-coming FA & Draft

Post#1 » by eagle13 » Sun Dec 7, 2014 12:06 pm

I know its way early but McGinn looks at up-coming FA & Draft

DRAFT
http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/ ... 99721.html
FA
http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/ ... 00391.html

Combining storied McGinn sees Pack-

He expects TT to use FA again
He sees ILB and OT as main needs of team.

I add TE for sure
I add DT as a possible concern depending on what happens with FAs Guion & Raji
and maybe CB depending on what happens with FAs Williams & Hyde

ILB
While not FAs McGinn expects Hawk, Jones & Lattimore to all get cut before March
He sees TT use both a high draft pick and sign a couple vet FAs here
I agree with all he said – 1st or 2nd pick plus - I’d spend on quality FA - if there is any?

OT
He thinks since its weak FA group – Bulaga may get offer too high
He sees Barclay’s return and a high draft pick
I like Bulaga but I agree with McGinn - 1st or 2nd pick

TE
He says nothing other than say its weak draft for TEs
I’d spend on quality FA if there is any?

DT
he saw Guion definitely resigned – maybe raji
I see both back unless large offer – I see using 3rd or 4th

CB
He sees Pack want both back but 1 or both could get bigger offer than TT wants
He doesn’t see House as starter
I prefer Williams over House – if we loose 1 or both I use 2nd, 3rd or 4th

Cobb and Bulaga have to be top priority

Peppers will be restructured

Cutting Jones and Hawk saves $7 million right there.

I hope we keep Tramon.

Tramon over house but hope house can be re-signed for reasonable amount.

ILB is such a ridiculous black hole there is no way we stay put. It will be a high priority. TT will absolutely look for an answer.
