Speaking of crazy scenarios it's actually good possibility that Seattle would miss the playoffs all together if they don't beat the Cards next week even if they beat the Rams week 17.

If the Seahawks lose to the Cards they get bumped to a wild card and even if they win week 17 vs the Rams to go to 11-5 all you'd need is for the Lions to beat the Bears next week and the Cowboys to win 2 of their final 3 and Seattle would be out.

All 3 would be 11-5 and Detroit would have the tie breaker over Seattle with a better division record and Dallas would have the head to head tie breaker.

If it's a three-way tie with Seattle/Dallas/Detroit I don't get how Seattle wouldn't be the odd team out with Dallas beating them head to head and Detroit with a better division record.

Right, I agree with you. I think that dude is full of it.

If Dallas holds onto win, don't we at least clinch a playoff berth with a win next week? We'd be a game up on Philly with 1 to play and we hold the tiebreaker on them.
