Post#1 » by HKPackFan » Thu May 21, 2015 4:38 am

I love this idea so much.

Old timers Favre throwing it to guys like Chewy, J Walker, and ANDRE RISON!!?!? OMG! Andre Friggin Rison!!! HAHAHA. I LOVE IT!!!

Bad Moon Rison back in Wisconsin to catch some balls from #4!? Oh man, too good.

Favre VS McNabb. Oh this should be fun.

Should be fun but would have been a lot better at Lambeau
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It is an absolute travesty the game is not at Lambeau. Packers are missing out on a ton of merchandise and other revenue, along with fan goodwill.

I still might go this. Is that wrong? (Costanza voice).

Packers claim it's too close to the season to use the field but that's a lame lame lame excuse. The first home preseason game isn't until August 29.

They also said its conflicting with a concert. Seems weird they are missing this opportunity.

The concert is June 20. The Packers are putting him into the Hall of Fame, retiring his number, but they don't want his charity game at Lambeau.

5 minute highlights video. at 46 seconds I'm almost positive I see James LOFTON! Holy Crap!!!

I saw Chewy, Nick Collins, I"m pretty sure Taush, Frankie, Eugene Robinson, Dorsey Levens, Free, Bad Moon Rison, And at the end I thought I saw an extremely slimmed down Gilbert Brown. I haven't seen him in 10-15 years, is he that slim now? He used to be larger than life.

Here's the only place I found the rosters.

Damn he had some mega stars there from years past. John Randle, McNabb, Craig, Simeon Rice.

Wish I had gone to that just to soak it in.

Willie Gault! And Ed Too Tall Jones! Wow!

Also I met Bubba Paris on a plane once, he's a pretty cool dude. I think I was reading, "When Pride Still Mattered" on the plane and he started talking to me. I remember distinctively thinking he's an NFL player but left him alone (I don't like being that guy), but he started the conversation.

Love the roster Favre put together. I always get a kick out of seeing Andre Rison everytime there is a '96 reunion gathering. I saw him in 2010 the day before the Superbowl in Dallas TX at Brian Williams bar along with the whole '96 crew.

Amazing he was there for only 5 regular season games, but damn he did make an impact, none bigger than his SuperBowl catch and he's now in forever Packers lore for it. What a fun story.

Everytime I see thee Rison TD I think about all of the times he toasted the DB in the Super Bowl only to have Favre miss him badly. Rison probably could have had somewhere near 200 yards and three TDs if Favre was more accurate. He was wide open.
