Age does play a factor (regardless of carries) - your not the same athlete at 30, that you were at 21-26. beyond carries in a regular season game, you have pre-season, camps, and practices.

Harris has played exactly one preseason game, let's see how he does over the rest of them. If he wins a job over Neal, i won't complain at all and then he could potentially end up earning carries during the season or get the main backup RB job next year with Starks likely out of the picture.

As for Starks age, i just don't see it being a factor for this season at least. He's only 29 with very limited carries on his body.

E. D. I think in today's NFL when your closing on 30 soon, your considered pretty old (more often then not- although there are some rare exceptions). The other thing is Starks has some injury history -and the upright running style.

Looks like we're not going to agree. Even though I don't agree with you, I respect your opinion. GO PACK!

Yea, to much time spent debating who should be the backup RB, but on the positive side of that, it shows just how loaded this offense should be. If Rodgers stays healthy, this should be a unit that finishes top 3 in points and yards.

This is a good point, 2 of the latest debates in this thread is how good our backup RB is and how our #4-6 WRs aren't proven. That is pretty telling about the true shape of our football team.
