I'm happy to see Dallas lose because I still fear them when Romo and Dez come back. They are easily the class of that mediocre division, just have to hope they dig themselves too big of a hole before they get healthy.

Haven't been paying 100% strict attention but from what I've seen CAR looks good, but not scary-good. Cam's made some really nice throws.

Philly has a shot still
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yea, i'd rather see Dallas gone in case the Packers in the playoffs were set to play the winner of the NFC East. A healthy Dallas team is better than anyone else in that Division.

If by some investigation you mean an investigation into the murder of his girlfriend which the police wanted to talk to him and as I recall he was holding off on talking to the police until after the draft. I might be mistaken but there was plenty of reason not to draft him given that situation.

If you read the story I posted before, they made it very clear that the police wanted to talk to him but was not a suspect. I would have no problem with the packers drafting him as the 7th round pick and telling the fans he will never play for this team if he is charged or becomes a suspect but they also believe in not punishing a guy for an unfortunate event.

I believe after a certain point in the draft, they had told teams that he'd not sign with them if drafted and wait it out until the following season or something to that tune. Something like after the 3rd round, he was better off declining to sign if picked and instead taking a slightly higher paycheck signing as an UDFA, though I believe he was also considering just sitting out a year and re-entering the draft until he changed it up and went with Dallas. I could be wrong, but I think after the 3rd round or so, the max UDFA contract can be just as much or more as a later round pick.

But NBC could still flex it, right? Eagles vs Cowboys doesn't sound that interesting at this point

It doesn't sound interesting, but would probably get higher ratings.

It could be flexed to the evening but Manning going back to Indy for probably the last time would be pretty big ratings.

What a BS call. The league is all about "protecting its players" these days so a guy sitting on top of another player at a dead stop should be down. You don't want that defenseless guy getting popped.

You are right, but they were also bluffing. Even if there was only a five percent chance he would play, I don't know how teams passed on the opportunity to get a 1st round pick in the 7th round pay slot. I would've picked him. Said his situation was unfortunate but say the rules said he was eligible to draft and if he wants out he has to sit out the year.

He looks terrible in a Packers sweater. And the commercial doesn't even explain properly why he's switching. If he's going to do the unfathomable, there should be something more clever as to why he's wearing a packers sweater. Maybe there is a longer commercial I dunno, but this is just weird/lame and doesn't come off as funny.
