Holding penalty to stop the clock. Long field goal attempt which could get blocked instead of pooch punt to pin them deep. This is such a moronically managed finish.

All I want to do is come here and talk about how bad we look to people who understand, but the site is slower than our WR corps.

Good to get that W though. Hope we pull a Bucks and show up against a superior opponent next week.

Good win, but we did a lot of things on offense that are going to make people lose their **** if they happen against a good team in the playoffs.

I've wondered the same thing myself- esp with a QB who can throw on the move and is a threat to run it in.

I can recall one time this season they did (I don't remember if it was goal-line or on a big 4th-and-short, but same idea) and it worked. I guess they don't like eliminating half the field when it's already a short space to work in, idk?

Lots of sloppy play on this, a lot of bend but don't break by the defense and I'm not sure how much the rain impacted both sides of that ball.

That said it's hard to win on the road in the NFL.

The biggest abomination this game was the announcing. I could literally do a better job than that crew.

The words Farve doesn't, have actually never appeared in a sentence before.

Was thinking the same thing. Not even Favre would make that throw. That was beyond anything I will ever be able to comprehend from a qb who throws picks about as much as TT likes throwing away draft picks.

This is a lot more generous than I'm willing to be. Just makes me mad that we could've blown this team out, but couldn't execute up to acceptable standards on play after play- drops, missed tackles, allowing an easy TD late 1st half, not converting ever on 3rd and short, not scoring TDs in redzone/goal line etc etc etc.

That said, of course I ll take it.

Eddie Lacy shouldn't be shuffling his feet at the 1 yard line. Lower your head, and plow forward.

Abby seemed productive. Made a couple clutch catches. I want to see him get more involved.

Wow, I'm amazed there's so much negative reaction to this one. I'm much more optimistic after convincingly beating a pretty good AFC team than I was after we hammered the lowly Cowboys. Especially considering we played pretty poorly ourselves.

People just need to realize that this is going to be a team that has to rely more than ever on defense and its run game. Need Shields back against Arizona though.
