Favre could have easily used PED's. Would not say he didn't.

But I do think that unlike Manning, Favre had the natural reduction in abilities that happens when you age. His career has some ups and downs the last 10-years but followed the normal decline progression.

In contrast Roger Clemens and Manning were guys who were essentially on their way out of the league, that then made miraculous turnarounds where in some sense they were better (or as good) as they were in their primes.

Also think Tim Duncan has benefited from something although the change back upward in his career arc wasn't quite as pronounced as Manning and Clemens.

I don't know you could argue Farve's best year ever was the year the vikes want to the NFCCG.

Manning was never really on the down-side. He hurt his neck and that kept him out
