Maybe Billings is the next Atkins, an undersized guy with ridiculous strength who ends up dominating. I don't know enough about scouting 300 lb defensive tackles to have a clue, but I thought that Stephen White (former NFL defensive lineman) piece to be really interesting.

Where is this piece?

I mean, the interesting thing with Billings is he is slightly taller and has more bulk than Daniels did as a draft pick. He has an inch in height and a 1/2 inch in reach. So, I really don't know what to make of his fall. It's quite remarkable. AND, where is this article? Did you already post it?

I did, but here it is again.

Well, this sticks out (as per Daniels measurements above):

There is no doubt that Billings is strong as an ox, as you can see watching him play and also from the 31 reps of 225 pounds he did at the combine. When you're just shy of 6'1 and your arms are only 33 inches long, you're going to have a hard time holding your ground against the bigger, stronger road-grader type offensive linemen in the NFL.

Regardless, I still find it hard to believe he is available in the 4th. I mean, nearly every prognosticator I've seen had him late 1st - 2nd round value. Pretty remarkable and it will be interesting to see what the rationale for his precipitous fall is.

I think what I come back to more and more when it comes to stuff like this is no one knows anything. Not even the teams doing the drafting. Some are better at guessing than others, but this is all a complete crapshoot. I haven't had a strong opinion about a TT pick in years, because he's been the guy who's built a perennial contender and has hit on enough guys to make me give him the benefit of the doubt.
