Yeah, when he was accurate the balls had no zip like usual.

Are you serious? On the road in a defensive battle, where all of your yardage is off of penalties, you take the damn 3 every. single. time.

Bright spots: Perry, Cook, the ILBs, and the new G Taylor.

Poor games: Rodgers, Adams, and Randall. Rodgers had 2 TOs and fumbled two more, missed receivers, unhappy body language.

Adams ran a poor route on the INT, let the DB sit on his route. Not getting open, not great hands, but feels like we keep building game plans around him. I'd rather see Abbrederis out there even if he's a little smaller.

Randall didn't look good. Diggs looked all-pro tonight. Our guy''s going to get targeted the next few weeks.

We didn't even make it into the red zone after that failed 4th down, what makes anyone think we would have won even if it were tied? Worst game of Rodgers career. A lot of stuff to work on the next two weeks, that's for sure.

False dilemma...you can do both. I've done it. You can also talk about Adams not getting separation, posting up his man, nor attacking the football in the air. There can be a sharing of the blame. McCarthy made plenty of mistakes, i.e.: short yardage playcalling, lack of usage of a deep threat, not going for the 3 down 3 in the 2nd half, etc. Pointing that out doesn't mean Rodgers is a hero who can do no wrong. I posted a video of Dennis Reynolds conveying he'd have more use for him as skin luggage. But in spite of Rodgers' struggles, we still only lost by 3, so other people's mistakes, if they were made, could have avoided a loss too.

I didn't like it because it seemed panicky. Typically MIke takes the points there. When he gets antsy or panicky, it's never a good sign.

Rodgers' body language is really off, he seems defeated. Not sure why but his confidence is gone.

Yardage off PIs is honest yardage. That's why they penalize PIs. Not sure what you're trying to say with that. I could just say in a defensive battle on the road, you have to be aggressive and it'd be equally valid. There's no obvious logic underpinning that claim.

Im normally in favor of being aggressive on 4th downs but with the way the game was going at the time i thinking kicking and tying the game up was the wiser move. Points were hard to come by for both teams all night.

I also didnt like the sequence of calls. If you know you're going to go for it why not run on 3rd instead of throwing the high degree difficulty pass out to Nelson. (Rodgers made a terrible throw on that play, he needed to give nelson a chance to make a play).

The soul crushing playoff losses the past couple years have made me numb to an early season loss like this.

You know damn well we could not move the ball on that drive. PI's is not yardage you can count on. We had no rhythm. You kick the FG all day there. My girlfriend, who knows nothing about football, who heard me yelling at McCarthy before that call, can attest to that.

I'm not trying to call you out. I respect you a lot as a poster. That was a horrible decision. Also not the only reason we lost the game, not by a long shot.
