Great to get the win today. With Detroit winning today I'm getting really worried we won't be able to catch them. Our only hope is Giants beating them as it's looking like Dallas will have #1 seed wrapped up by the week they play the lions. Also we keep talking about needing Detroit to lose one but it's very likely we could get that scenario and then we lose to the lions in that last week. How much would they suck? If we win out though and Detroit wins out too (minus beating us) I think 10-6 will get the last wildcard because Washington probably ends up at 9-6-1.
This is probably the toughest game of our last 4 coming up. I feel like Micheal will have a big game against his former team. I agree about Starks too, he's done. Montgomery should start and Michael can be the change of pace. Use Starks only if an injury pops up.

He better make the most of his 3 snaps then if he's going to have a big game.

I fear the Starks/Micheal thing will be one of those situations where it will be obvious to everyone that Micheal is worlds better than Starks.....obvious to everyone except Mike McCarthy.

Jordy Nelson is quietly putting together a 1,000+ 10+TD season. 31 years old. 1 year and some odd months removed from a major acl injury. I thought I'd know by week 8 how he'd fare. I guess I needed til weeks 11 and 12. Color me stunned. One of the all time Packer greats, imho.

Jordy 2nd in NFL in TD's. Adams 4th in receiving TDs.

Yes

If we win out, we almost HAVE to at least make the playoffs. Basically everyone in playoff contention that we care about still has a Cowboys game. Most of the competing teams play against one another. The Giants might lose out. The Giants and Lions square off.

Even losing next week and then winning out gives us a pretty good shot if one is looking for a playoff berth.

Yeah. 9-7 stands a good chance of getting in. Depends on tiebreakers though at that point. That said if we were to lose this week and finish 9-7 that leaves us with only one division loss which I'm pretty sure is the first tie breaker after head to head so if a 9-7 team gets in based on tiebreaker it'd likely be us.

Still though. 10-6, win the division and go into the playoffs on a 6 game winning streak is obviously more preferred

Well, division record is a division tiebreaker if we tie with the Lions (or Vikings) and we don't have a clear 2-0 (H2H) or majority winner (more than 2 team tie) in the division.

It'll go to conference record if no head-to-head type stuff works out for a WC spot (unless that WC is within the division, I think).

You may have already been suggesting this...but clarifying regardless.

Yes. Every time it seems like he has the ball in his hands, he does something positive. I really want him to be the primary RB for the rest of the season.

I hope they have him bulk up a bit to take more of a role at RB for next season. I mean, he is 220 or so already, but maybe just build up more strength to handle the position

Bulk wise he's fine imo. Thought from day one he'd be a better RB and was fine keeping only two other RBs out if camp cause I pretty much assumed he'd be the 3rd down scat back.

Just needs to get a little more adjusted to chipping comming out of the backfield, which is why I'm guessing he isn't in there the majority if the time right now, and we have our Sproles
