Well he didn't really show much last year and he is 26... but all the same I don't see the immediate need to deal him for "cash considerations"

He was out of options so he either had to clear waivers (which is unlikely) or be traded. Still, I would have thought they would have been able to get a minor league reliever or something for him.

Oh ok well I suppose that makes sense....

Wasn't Rosario a high draft pick of ours? or am I thinking of another Latin born Pitcher? lol

dam..... just cash? does it bug anyone when we receive CASH in trades? Much like the trade with the 6ers, with Bavcic.....

cash does nothing to the fans, it moreso just puts money in the pockets of the owners

Rosario was undrafted so you're thinking of some one else.

horrible move by JP.

I thought he'd atleast get a prospect.

If he this was the best he could get then he should have sent down Accardo and kept Rossiaro

Couldn't we have just sent him down to the minors? I don't understand...

I've always liked Rosario, and I think he could've been an asset in the pen. Oh well.

I really dont see why he couldnt option Accardo to AAA while looking for a better trade partner for Rosario. Then at least he wouldnt have been rushed into doing something within 10 days and could have at least netted a prospect out of the deal.

The Jays know Rosario a lot better than we do. So do the scouts of 28 other teams who passed on him. Don't see the basis for any debate here.

Agreed. Accardo isn't much better than Rosario.
