AARON RODGERS can opt out of his contract. How did we not hear about this before?

Yeah, but the assumption was that he was going to renegotiate his contract this offseason - and even if he did decide to opt out, they could tag him.

I still think this is pretty huge under our current situation. If he opts out he could force the hand of those in charge to make some pretty big changes.

Well, let me save the drama. He is going to opt out. There's a 100% chance of that happening. He's going to get a new contract that makes him the highest paid player in the league.

He was always going to get a new contract after this season. "Opting out" is a scary term to get people worked up. He's not going anywhere. With this season going down the drain there will be a whole bunch of stuff to get people riled up
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Somehow Rodgers being able to opt out became news?

He isn't going anywhere. We knew this was happening. He'll be the highest paid QB in the league. There's always the tag for people that are "scared" of the prospect of him opting out. There's about 0% chance he leaves. Stop listening to Cowherd

As he should IMO.

I know I would. Aaron's about to turn 34 this weekend.

There hasn't been another xray yet so we have know idea to what extent he's healed. Throwing during warm ups doesn't mean he'd be ready to play Sunday.

The Packers are probably being extremely cautious because their franchise, not just franchise QB, their literal franchise just broke a bone that effects his throwing arm. So yeah, put him on IR and keep him there unless there's something to play for in the last couple of weeks.

That's strange since he can't play for 2 more weeks but was already practicing? I don't really know the rules on IR but that's strange. Plus it had been reported he would have an X-ray for bone density before the Panthers game to see if he was cleared to play.

Probably a good morale boost for the team none the less.
