Hughes is just dominating batters, such a difference. One guy can pound the strikezone pitch after pitch, Kyle Davies looks clueless out there.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting to see so many swing and misses on a 92 mph fastball. Hughes is a very stingy pitcher and hates throwing balls, sometimes he throws 0-2 fastballs over the plate. He gets away with it because of his pinpoint location of every single pitch, but it can catch up to him. Today he is basically 80% fastball, 20% curveball. He's mixed in maybe 1 or 2 changeups but thats it. As he gets more innings under his belt he'll feel more comfortable with his other pitches and he'll put up even better numbers. His changeup was working against Texas which is why he was so dominant then.

Going to the well one too many times, gave up a 2 run longball on a fastball up.

Nobody cares about "Trunk Boizz" outside of you and a loser clan you created for this.

Yanks baby.

Hughes was throwing some nasty stuff but then he started getting tired.

Congrats A-Rod.

Well I don't crave attention, but the Cubs were just in 1st place yesterday. Last time I checked, the Yankees weren't. And they had a horrible start. Not just New York, but Boston and all other major East Coast cities get way too much attention. I just don't like it because it's too repetitive. Same thing with everything Barry Bonds. And in the end, ESPN now sucks at it's highest point of it's existence.

I can see why Barry Bonds is getting a lot of attention. ESPN wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't cover Bonds considering the All-Time home run record is the most famous record in sports.
But I do agree with Posey about the Yankees getting too much attention. They were like 15 games out and they would still lead of SportsCenter.
I remember a Yankee/Blue Jays game led off SportsCenter when the Yankees were in 3rd place.

... the media (WGN) and that "loveable loser" portrayal can be thanked for that.
