I remember a time when I could watch something like this and not feel any guilt at all.

Easily one of the worst preseason games I have ever watched. Jesus.

Re: Preseason Game 3: Packers @ Raiders (9:30PM on Channel 27 in Madison)
Both QBs sucked. Murphy should get cut before he kills someone. Our defense looked good. Jackson's pick 6 coming back was a travesty. Sitting the whole first string offense in the 3rd preseason game really puts a lot of pressure on your 2nd string to show something, and it did not show much. Hopefully there is some way to get a serviceable backup RT, because there is no reason to keep Murphy on the roster if he can't even block the Raiders backups.
ETA: J'Mon Moore was the silver lining of the game on offense. He finally made the big play everyone wanted him to make and he caught nearly everything thrown his way even when it was thrown like garbage.
Our return team is actual trash, and I don't want Alexander anywhere near returning punts. Trevor Davis made the team tonight. JK Scott was also trash. There was something about how Zook was trying to speed up his punt timing, and if that is the case then someone needs to get Zook the hell away from Scott.

We desperately need a backup QB
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Murphy moves like his feet are in thick mud.
Tackle depth is non-existent and Bulaga's body is held together by fishing line. My biggest roster concern and depth at interior O-Line is't much better.

Ted Thompson is no longer here to protect Hundley's roster spot.
If Gutekunst has the same final say on all roster decisions like Ted had, he will decide who the backup QB is, just like Ted did every year he was GM.
Gutekunst didn't draft Hundley, Thompson did, so he has no vested interest in seeing Hundley kept, and he was the one to trade for Kizer, meaning he liked Kizer and was far from sold on Hundley.
I hope Boyle gets some decent playing time next week because so far at least, he looks to throw most accurately.

Lane Taylor was a very capable backup tackle. He played at a pro starter level. Maybe not at Bahk's level, but he definitely held his own. McCray is capable of kicking out on the right side also. I think that Murphy played himself off of the roster. The line was also playing down a string to the Raiders.

Can we just cart the Badgers’ OLine over on Sundays?

Did Jordy and Rodgers do the ball spin before the game?
Only other thing I cared about was backup QB situation. Sucks our O-line was too bad to show us a difference....

I rewatched the game this early afternoon. Jason Spriggs was by far the most competent of the starting 2nd unit line. I think he may have made the team last night.

I didn’t watch the game but his raw and net numbers looked good. The first 5 looked great (again, I didn’t see them) with short or no returns. The last 2 looked bad but maybe he was tired from punting so much.

I don't know how anyone can say Kizer looked like trash when all night the O-line was a turnstile and he had zero time to even plant his feet. Defense looked great for a 3rd straight game so that's really all I care about.
