I recall a game by AJ Hawk on a Sunday night as well where he was getting abused all night. Pushed backward, wrong-footed, over-pursuing, stumbling around like he was drunk, etc. Worst game I've seen from a Packer linebacker. That's how Matthews played last night, only with the meatheaded brain fart when it mattered most.

And HHCD is a wildly overrated player as well. Like Darren Sharper in his worse seasons, without the date rape.

Even as kind of a Clay-basher over the last couple years, yesterday was pretty eye-opening in how far he's fallen. Dude was straight up trash last night and nearly single-handedly cost us the game. It's gonna be rough for Pettine to have to try and manufacture pressure if he's gonna be that much of a liability on the field. Need to get some help at OLB but I don't really know what's out there at this point.

David Samson is the former President of the Miami Marlins.

That's hilarious. I was wondering how the kind of moron who compares Aaron Rodgers to Ryan Howard gets a blue check mark. President of the Marlins is the perfect answer.

Idk, Haha has all the tools, and he's made good plays. Last night made a huge tackle all alone on a misdirection play late in the game on 3rd and 2 to force a punt.

With clay, let’s face facts. When Biogenesis went down in 2013 and his stash ran out in 2014, his career ended.

Over the summer we decided to roll with:

Clay Matthews (deroided, often injured and getting old), Nick "Elijah Prince/Mr. Glass" Perry, Old and slow Fackrell, unknown Biegel (who was sadly slow and weak against scrubs), and Reggie Gilbert.

That's going to be the bulk of our pass rush, I'm not sure how all the smart people at Lambeau agreed and said, "Ya, this should work."

OK, I felt better watching this. Some amazing games.

A poster mentioned how he watched a game with a bears fan and the bears fan never felt comfortable up 20-0 nearing the 4th quarter.

Well, this makes me understand why.

https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2018/09/10/seven-times-green-bay-packers-qb-aaron-rodgers-thwarted-bears/1254665002/

While for me, I don't have that super confident feeling, (Normally because we've seen the comeback and then **** defense and the comeback fall short a million times), so I'm still a bit too nervous and not as confident.

I will say though, because of some of these games, the hail marys, the Dallas Jared Cook game, and a couple others, even when we are down and it seems impossible, I still have hope, because Aaron **** Rodgers.

Tom Brady said Rodgers would throw for 7,000 yards a year if he played for the pats. (Quoted by Ian O Connor)

I would be very interested in a Josh McDaniels/Aaron Rodgers offence

McGinn

The snap counts were 60 for Clay Matthews, 41 for Perry, 37 for Reggie Gilbert and four for Kyler Fackrell. The only time Matthews hit Trubisky was in the final two minutes when his roughing penalty gave the Bears a first down and could have been deadly. The contrast between a superstar rusher like Khalil Mack and Matthews was dramatic, to say the least. Matthews couldn’t even get close against LT Charles Leno or RT Bobby Massie even though coach Matt Nagy double-teamed him on merely 14.3% of passes. Pettine didn’t rush Matthews on nine passes, instead dropping him into coverage. Matthews had a long day. He was fooled or out of position several times. Gilbert might have saved a fourth-quarter TD by blanketing Tarik Cohen on a wheel route and finished with 1 ½ pressures. Fackrell might have played just four plays but the Bears found him and washed him down on two carries for 25 yards.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Can we go pick up Navarro Bowman?

I’d rather have him play out of position outside than have out Fackrell out there. Or what about Jayrone Elliott?

Are we trying to win a title here, or just throwing out the same old crap?

Simon, Orchard, Ealy, Bowman, whatever, Gute needs to do some serious tire kicking.

I'm on a cruise and watched the game at the sports bar on board. Mix of Bears, Packers and neutral fans. What an amazing game. From feeling sick at halftime to one of the greatest comebacks ever.
