I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think McDaniels has a leg up over Riley. He, like Belichick, fell on his face in his first HC gig and it probably taught him a few lessons.

I also think Rodgers would be more receptive to criticism from him as opposed to Riley, who has done nothing in the NFL.

Does King really think that it’s all about play design?

Too many penalties, player accountability, wasting time outs, time outs to get the ball back backfiring, play selection in short yardage situations, play selection in 4 down territory, etc.

Um guys, King hasn't done MMQB all season, this isn't his column. If you want to read it and debunk it go ahead but read it. There is some sense to it. It certainly doesn't exonerate MM at all but does point out things that MM has done right that Rodgers has **** up. There are some, not saying you two, who think Rodgers "problems" are all MM's fault. Rodgers has been pretty bad at times this year. Whether it's mental, physical or combo who knows. I'm certainly 100% behind a coaching change

Haven’t read MMQB in awhile. Assumed it was still King.

The article makes some good points. And some bad ones. Rodgers is partially to blame for this year. He has not played that well. And just isn't the leader that he should be. The article says everyone gives Rodgers a break and doesn't blame him. That is not true. Rodgers biggest flaw is that he is not a leader like Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. This year he looks like a whiny Jay Cutler.

MM finally, after so many years, has a new offense? If MM expects Rodgers to follow his game plan, then MM needs to put Rodgers in his place. If Rodgers is in fact choosing the wrong person to throw to on these plays, then is MM on the sideline telling Rodgers this? And he needs to make it very known. Maybe he is but make it known to the entire team that no one, even Rodgers, can make mental mistakes. That is what a coach in his final year of his contract should be doing. He has nothing to lose.

Just got a tinge of excitement thinking of a new coach, two 1sts, two 4ths, and $40 mil in cap space.

If Murphy doesn’t pull the trigger, I’ll be so pissed.

I'm pissed that it's Murphy and not Gute whole makes the decision as is being talked abou in the lead up thread
