Our defense literally has to be good next year.

If it's not - given the money and draft capital we put into it this year, we're screwed

Pats got Stidham who was my steal of the draft at qb, Rams got David Edwards who was my steal of the draft at tackle. The rich get richer

I really like that we are focusing on defense. If a healthy Rodgers, a new coach and an revamped offensive line can’t produce a decent offense we are screwed anyways.

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Agreed. However, it took a pretty large step forward without the capital spent on it. We drafted, but we didn't spend money on effective replacements -- especially pass rush. This year we have new starters at both OLB positions, both S positions, we move Tramon back to cornerback. Our depth at OLB goes from Kyler Fackrell to Fackrell and Gary. We probably still have room to bring in Wilkerson if we want someone who is a run stuffer. My only worry is a coverage linebacker.

So I've learned that Mel Kiper is a god damn psycho path. Orders cheese pizza and takes the cheese off and dips it in mashed potatoes? WTF...

I can't wait to see how the offensive line shakes up in training camp!

Taylor, Siragusa, Madison, Jenkins, McCray, Patrick and Turner all fighting for the starting guard spots. My guess is Taylor loses out on his spot and we go with Jenkins at LG and Turner at RG. Unless they surprise everyone and move on from Bulaga and start Turner at RT.
