If he goes the non-op route, it's really not as long as you'd think. I was moving around pretty well in a boot in a month. Out of the boot after 2.

LaFleur, 39, will have surgery on Sunday. A source said team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie advised LaFleur to have the tear repaired as soon as possible.

If you are going to tear your achilles in life, hell of a thing to work for a professional football team.

Lafluer is 40, hang up the basketball shoes and just coach. It's nice when the coach can move around and interact!

Devine's first regular season game as HC. Several odd elements in that game beyond Devine getting walloped on the sidelines and breaking his leg.

2 NYG fumble recoveries for touchdowns in a six second span

A 100 yard return of a missed field goal for a TD by Green Bay’s Ken Ellis (the first one in NFL history after they changed the rule to allow missed FGs to be returned)

A NYG punt was “muffed” by a Green Bay player when the ball hit his foot after he slipped and fell on the wet grass

A safety was recorded when the ball was snapped over the Giants punter’s head and into the end zone.

And of course, Packers Head Coach Dan Devine broke his leg when the Giants Bob Hyland rolled into him on the sideline following a Fran Tarkenton interception.

Makes sense to negotiate an injury settlement and bring in a new coach imo. No reason to throw more money at a sunk cost.

Remember when Ahmad Carrol had to wear boxing gloves during practice because he wouldn't stop holding people?

Josh Jones does not seem to be doing himself any favors in his talks with the media. Comes off as petulant, arrogant and standoffish. I’m sure his “hamstring injury” is totally legit and couldn’t possibly be a sandy vag.
