Kicking game is concerning.

Field goals. Lotti was fine today.

And he missed that 48 yarder by two inches. He'll figure it out.

Was at the game. The first targeting looked like total bull, the second looked more legit (I'm guessing some frustration). Is that the consensus? It's hard to get a good look at the game.

This was a nice statement win. I think Michigan is quite overrated, and this win will likely look less impressive when the season ends. But still, it's always a joy to beat up on them.

To those shading this more to Michigan sucking and the Badgers not being that good, ask all of the teams in the nation to win 145-14 or whatever against this set of opponents. Only 5-10 teams actually could. At some point, consistently pounding the **** out of inferior opponents means that you’re good. Ohio State is probably better as there are 2-5 teams on a completely different level of college football, but this Badgers team isn’t far back.

Also, it is damn refreshing to watch Chryst join Counsell in the guys that listen to the analytics folks. I honestly might’ve punted on that 4th and 4 just across midfield but I love almost any time a coach makes the correct calls on these things.

I think Klatt had it right - have two separate targeting calls.

If you want to give a crappy 15 yarder for a completely unintentional one like the first one we had, fine, but don’t eject.

The second one, I don’t think it was his intent...but he did decapitate McCaffrey. I still don’t even like guys getting ejected when the QB slides into it, but fine, that one qualifies.

It is dicey without 2 safeties for a half (plus Nelson already) but they’ll be favored by roughly 3 touchdowns next week. I’m not sure this version of Northwestern has the QB to throw those jump balls or the 4/5-star physical specimen WRs like Penn State did in that choked B10 title game or today’s Michigan did.

Glad I spent the weekend at the lake. My team sucked, Badgers looked terrific. That's all I got. Oh, thank god for fast-forward.
