Part of me wanted the 49ers to lose today and part of me is happy that we're not facing a 49ers team that is trying to avoid a 3 game losing streak.

We can always take solace/celebrate that the Vikings are overpaying their -- eh, nevermind.

I can't wait to go 12-4 or even 11-5 and play a road game in round 1.

Unless you have the Vikings winning out 12-4 still probably wins the division as we'll most likely own the tie breaker (I assume you'd mark the SF and Minnesota games as the two extra losses for 12-4).

A couple weeks ago SF was going to win out...... Also Seattle might win out (I mean these are the talking points regarding the 1 seed)..... Now Minnesota is going to win out... People do know that no matter who your playing in the NFL winning 7-8 games in a row isnt exactly common?

And yes Cousins was still a bad move and am still happy they spent a bunch of money to lock themselves into an at best average QB (you really need to stop trying to bring thos up at every turn. Seek help)

Yeah, 12-4 should still win it but it'll be close. The Vikings game in Seattle basically will decide things.

The Vikings dismal L to the Bears early in the season could end up deciding the division between us, as long as we take care of business against the Bears and Lions.

Actually we don't. Seattle would have to lose one more for us to be the #1 seed

What tiebreaker does Seattle have over us if we both win out?

If they win out, it would be common opponent I think. They will have beaten a team we lost to (Philly)

Rivers is sooo bad. The Chargers have a lot of weapons on both sides

Not winning a game against an AFC opponent isn't gonna be the reason if we don't end up getting the #1 seed. Literally every week some of you guys keep on with the "team X is gonna win out" or "team X isn't gonna lose more than one game" and year after year it never plays out that way. It's why schedule watching is pointless in the NFL. San Fran isn't some unbeatable juggernaut. Beat them, and we're in the driver's seat for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Simple.
