Jalen Berger, 4-star RB that seemed to be trending back towards Schiano and Rutgers is now picking between UCLA and Wisconsin at the All-American game. That seems like we've got a pretty good shot.

speaking of the All-American game, based on this: https://247sports.com/Event/All-American-Bowl-2020-56/
the only Wisconsin recruits are two in-state OT.

That’s not a bad thing, historically. We’re shut out of this bowl a lot until the last few years getting 2-3 guys with more regularity.

If we want to compete with Ohio state, we need WR, RB and CBs.

It’s never gonna happen so just enjoy what we’ve got, man.

The state of Ohio has like 10x the HS football talent of Wisconsin, not to mention better neighboring states. And they already have the history/pipeline/resources to better recruits in Florida, etc.

It may gradually get better for Wisconsin but you’ll hate every moment of fandom if you expect it to.

Like me :/

, but people used to say that about the Bucks too....

UW just needs its Giannis, it’s not Coan, probably not Metrz, but x-ing fingers....
Maybe Taylor wants to beat All the records and comes back for one more... Mertz plays like Burrow and we get our miracle...

If you're waiting for UW to compete with OSU on the recruiting trail you may as well root for another team.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Taylor would be an idiot to come back. Most pro RB don't have long shelf lives.

I'm not saying they need to win the recruiting rankings, I'm saying they need to get 1-2 skill position guys every year.
