The way they ran the ball snow isnt doing anything but helping them

It’s in hindsight, but even live I was really hoping they would have gone for it on 4th and 2 at the 50 on the first drive. Your huge underdogs to a team that earlier curb stomped you. You started out by making them go 3 and out. That was your chance to control the game. We punt to the 10 only gaining 40 yards and they go ahead and score. Really thought they should have gone for it

The whole world doubted us. Going to be exactly like last time they said. Don't even show up they said.

And they were right.

Thought the defense made some great strides over the past couple seasons under Pettine, but this was Dom Capers level ineptitude in defending (or whatever you want to call that) the run game. Shanahan just embarrassed him out there. I really thought this was the year where our defense would at least be capable of keeping us in the game, but Pettine's "don't care about stopping the run" scheme isn't gonna inspire a whole lot of confidence moving forward if this is gonna be the same old end result as we had in so many seasons with the previous regime.

Well that sucked. I'm not even mad they lost because the 49ers are a damn good team, but to just get bludgeoned by the run over and over and over again was ridiculous. **** do something, play 9 in the damn box and make them throw for **** sake.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

i think obviously the death of the run game has been overstated considering this postseason, win on the line win the game.

Anyone read Sherman’s comments? I want to hate but he’s not wrong.

I have 0 hate for the 49ers. They crushed us. I want to thank them for exposing our weaknesses.

Such a great perspective. I mean, if they say, barely lose last week to the Hawks then maybe too much denial sets in and the offseason isn’t as urgent. Hopefully they come with a sense of urgency and realism about the state of the roster and coaching.

Coworker put this miniature helmet on my desk this morning. I immediately listed it on ebay. Any additional listing details I should add before I send him the link?
