Maybe they think that dude they signed from the canadian football league is their new slot receiver

Could be.

Reggie Begelton. In his 'Pro Day" for NFL scouts he ran a 4.53 40, had a 39.5" vertical.

Is Gutey pissing away draft picks at a higher rate than Ted? His drafting record certainly isn’t anything to write home about.

Watched the Draft all the way through for the first time with my teenage daughter. The whole time getting her hyped to celebrate various different WRs, Thanks for dashing the dreams of a child Packers. Lol

I feel like this draft was all about being better in two years and not next year.

shouldn't the goal be to get better every year?

I mean, I am not happy at al, with the draft. I like Dillon but didn’t like where we picked him and I am good with Love as a high ceiling developmental QB.

Beyond that, ugh I guess I like replenishing OL depth.

If I were Gute I LITERALLY wouldn’t have done one thing he did except the OL depth picks

I think getting a prime athlete like People Jones could have salvaged this draft in my mind. At least you were getting a fairly electric WR and athlete but yeah, we went into one of the deepest drafts ever at WR, ILB and OT and managed to leave without not only a starter but not even a player that will help us next year.

Gute got some splaining to do. Love better work out or MLF and Gute will be out of the NFL in about 900 days from right now

Very frustrating to go into the draft that is potentially historically deep at WR, an area of need and not come out with one single one. Not impressed with GB’s current WR crew, not at all.

It would never happen, but it would be funny if he said "I suck at drafting WRs, so I didn't... I learned from my mistakes. "

Absolutely ridiculous statement to say any of these picks have been pissed away. You have no idea how these picks will pan out.

Right?

Now this is when we can really start grading Gutes first draft and he could really use guys like Burkes, MVS, ESB, Jackson to take a step this season.

Burkes might be the most interesting because in theory he could really fill that fast lb need, hope he can just stay healthy for a whole camp.

With MVS and ESB we should probably remember that nearly every good wr the pack have had the past couple decades took a while to get going. Hell alot of folks wanted Adams cut his second season.

I'm not high on Jackson but a lot of the same draft evaluators who hate this current draft were very high on him two years ago.

Couldn't even get KJ Hill in the 7th?

Wait & see is a fine position to have (it's really not taking a position) but my take is that Gutey has squandered a decent amount of picks in his short tenure and this year was filled with head scratching selections.

If you want to hitch your wagon to Oren Burks (shown nothing in two years), MVS, ESB (shown nothing in two years), and Josh Jackson (shown nothing in two years) then that's fine but I have no confidence in those guys.

I just look at other teams drafting and their picks make sense. The Green Bay Packers? Not so much.

I’m just stunned we failed to come away with a single IDL or WR.

Praying players make a massive leap in their 3rd year is asking for trouble.

I don't love this draft but I'll let them actually play before judging.

Hell I absolutely loved that draft class I mentioned but so far it's been a little disappointing. I'm not hitching my wagon to it just saying this season is the appropriate time to grade it. As of now I'd only give it a C and that's only because Jaire is good at a premium position.

Speaking of former picks. Wild prediction: martavious Adams has a big year in a contract year then gets paid by someone next spring and it turns out to be horrible contract.
