Brees was missing medium and short throws last night too.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
stack the box. make brees beat you. if thomas doesn't play, packers corners can match up with their WR's. can't let kamara and murray rush for 150+. Must Win.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
A win by us would be a big statement to the rest of the league, even if you could make the argument that this Saints team isn't as good as it has been previously.
Stop the run, please.

3-0 and a lot of people will start to think, "maybe we have a shot."
As it stands, I think it's us and Seattle that will rise to the top of the NFC this season.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
Hypothetically:
What gives us a better chance? Adams and Thomas both playing at their normal level, or both sitting out?
Also, why are the Saints asking our team doctors to clear Thomas? Is this a normal practice. Kind of weird if you ask me.

I'm guessing Adams and Clark will be out this game and next (Falcons). After that we have a bye. Adams hasn't played a full season since 2016.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
Clark practicing back-to-back days would indicate he's got a pretty good chance of playing, no? Davante having these constant nagging injuries is definitely becoming a trend though.

Good point, no sense having Clark out there otherwise, we'll certainly need him.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
If I had to pick, Clark is more important to this team. I watched Rodgers go on a tear without Davante

Not great but injuries are part of the game.
Have to imagine one or even both of Shepard and/or Begelton are added to the roster this weekend. Maybe we can get another Lazard type PS to contributor success story.

Re: Saints Lead Up (SNF)
The early string of OLine injuries is worrisome. By the injury descriptions (other than Taylor's season-ender), Jenkins, Patrick, Turner, Wagner, even Linsley have had dings that become chronic over the course of the season. It's good that some of these guys can successfully switch positions and that Runyan appears to be NFL grade, but the loss of continuity doesn't help.

Many were predicting an alarming increase in injuries league wide. I don’t know how we compare to other teams but these guys had very little time to work themselves into game shape and more importantly game speed.
