FWIW, Looking at the Bears depth chart, there is no third QB listed.
Wow not even on the practice squad.

I'm assuming one of the two has to perform, no matter what. So, does the Bears QB situation lead to an extra run-heavy offense for the day? One QB may not be able to throw so well....., and the other may not be able to move or plant as well as normal. Aldo that run-heavy idea plays against the Packers weak spot.

One caveat: Is the Man defense partly personnel dependent? Basically, it works best with the best cover guys vs injury replacements.

A non-caveat: With the Zone number does that also include the porous "prevent" schemes, where they cede 10 yards before the snap and whiff a tackle or two for good measure?

I'm down with Austin taking Shepards roster spot. He'd basically be Ervin's backup.

Have to think the Packers will be in on this.

Shepherd gets cut. Who runs back kicks till Ervin is ready to go? Jackson's on concussion watch, I believe.

I'd take both Austin and Stills if we have room

Cut Shep and bring in Austin. Seems like a no-brainer.

Since his first year, what's the percentage of games King has played? I believe it's about 60% of the regular season games.

No way you can resign King.

Somebody will pay King, but I'd think he has or will rapidly slide off the Packers bubble. His chronic in-ability to stay on the field may limit his next contract - whoever pays it.

Have to let king to even if its a reasonable contract. the only way I'd keep him is if there is a low guarantee and/or give him a per game bonus.

King has been a quandary for me. Early in the season I would have preferred signing him over Jones.
I realized I just don't want to waste 3 drafts trying to find another CB.

Good point, but the highlighted bit is a separate problem from King's inability to stay healthy.
