Jim Leonard is almost assuredly gone this offseason. Might as well keep him in-state.

What's your bet on role? Where is a separate condition.

Head Coach - college level
DC - NFL
???

He was close to getting the Rams DC job last summer, so my guess is that's going to be his next role.

Ironically Leonhard played under Pettine with the Jets from 2009-2012 and if I recall, credited him with a lot of his development as an assistant. But yeah, I think he'd be a no-brainer.

So apparently a Lions player fractured his throat on Sunday and Lazard tweeted about it and got the best response.

Didn't they just elevate Stepaniak from the practice squad?

I didn't think he was a a guarenteed bust but i did say he did sucked at that point. Others did as well. Because well he sucked then

Didn’t realize this was an NFL Network game, guess I’m not watching it.

he literally didn't have time to suck yet. He's less than 2 years in and showing huge upside and it's still not in the cards to say you might have been wrong? It's fine, I'm wrong all he time. But as the #1 supporter of that pick I think I'm allowed a tiny bit of gloating. All in good fun, of course.

WTF Are you talking about? If I said he sucked his rookie year. I would be correct. Him looking like he's turned a corner doesnt change that. Saying he sucked his rookie year isn't saying he'll always suck. Its saying he sucked his rookie year.

Where are these people that said he never had a chance to develop though? Most that didn't like the pick just didn't like the idea of drafting someone that high in the 1st round that wasn't going to ready to contribute for 2 years. (So I guess you got me he's about 1/2 season ahead).

Hes looking good. But the problem people had with the pick was that he was a project drafted in the top half of round 1 (a position we aren't in often)
