That's more of a credit to the offensive line imo.

Absolutely agree they have a good oline.People no one gets pressure on brady he was sacked as much as rogers was 21xs and i think 8 cane against the 2 games with the saints.
Putting pressure on brady is much easier said than done

Don’t have to sack Brady, just don’t give him time to find something deep, and hopefully make him throw before he wants to.

I think you live with his dinking and dunking (its what our D gives up after all). Make him execute short throws over and over and over- his accuracy is diminished, he’ll miss some.

And hopefully our O is scoring and he’ll be under pressure to keep up.

Its not Brady I’m worried about. He’s only a factor if our offense isn’t clicking (and if our O is sputtering we’re in trouble regardless).

Those MLBs scare the bejesus out of me though. Sooooo fast and athletic.

They’re a problem in the run game, as blitzers, and they can run with our TEs and RBs in coverage.

They looked like they were playing a different sport than our LBs last time we played them. Definitely something that is still in my head.

Isn't the old maxim "run at fast defenders, run away from strong ones"? What do you do when the defender is both fast and strong?

Lol yeah. Those guys were downfield and in our gaps before our linemen could get 2 yds over to set a block.

Idk enough about blocking schemes to know the solution. Maybe some motion to slow down their reads a bit? Idk.

Might see us throw the ball a lot.

Might see that 2-back set we used vs LA a lot. Motion jones out and try to get one LB out of position and into coverage (if they’re in man) then run it there?

Hope its snowy. That’ll take the edge off their speed a bit.

I'm hoping Dillon can have an impact in the running game. He really wasn't up to speed the last time they faced TB.

Hope he’s healthy, he seems to be. We’re gonna want all 3 rbs available.

That said, I think if we can run well or not depends more on O-line executing their blocks and MLF/Rodgers making the right reads/calls than it will any individual RB.

But who knows? Dillon’s size and strength might be harder for their LBs to handle.

Having both Dillon and Williams could help keep them fresher, while wearing down the defense. In the immortal words of Gene Wilder: "It... Could.... Work!!!!"

7.5 point dogs vs Seattle.
6 point dogs vs Atlanta.
8 point dogs vs San Francisco.

3.5 point favorites tomorrow. Not worried. 8-)

Dillon outweighs the LBs by like 20 lbs, so getting him in space might make them start making business decisions late in the game. They'll try to punch the ball out though, so hopefully he's ready for that.

I was thinking maybe he can pick up a couple yards after contact, instead of getting blasted out of his shoes like our smaller backs. I wouldn’t try to run him outside tho.

Dillon also might be stouter picking up blitzing lbs, tho I doubt we trust him yet in pass pro.

We've got a pretty small sample size for Dillon as a blocker. So far he seems OK. But then Williams is a good blocker and Jones punches above his weight class as a blocker too.

Every time I have heard Rodgers speak in the last week or so my confidence in them grows. Maybe I’ll look foolish by this time tomorrow, but this team feels like the ‘10 team to me. Aaron will not be stopped.

I trust MLF to put up a game plan to beat Tampa's defense.

This is not some other worldly defense we are facing:

38/34 Saints. 31 chargers. 27 chiefs and rams. Atlanta 27&27.

Almost half their games they gave up 27 or more points.

We went up 10-0 on the fast.

It all went downhill after the two picks. Rodgers is not throwing two picks again.

We can absolutely handle this defense. It is a very good defense and it's fast and their blitz packages are tricky.

Rodgers complained they left the huddle too slow so he didn't have time to decipher their blitz package at the Los.

MLF learned outside runs don't work. MLF Learned to be patient with the run game. The enite oline learned to communicate better with stunts and blitz pickups.

This offense will be ready, with some nice long drives and also keep Brady and their offense cold and on the sidelines.
