Re: Round 5: Tadarrel Slaton
You want all the picks to succeed.... I really want this guy to develop into at least a run stuffer, or at least skilled enough where he demands blocking attention by himself, giving Clark, the Smiths, Gary, etc more room to work. Not fair to lay that level of expectation on a 5th rounder, but there it is.....

Reminds me of that hilarious Christian Ringo clip where he does a similar thing to the OG, except Ringo had a running start.

If all he does is be a better player than Lancaster then it's a great pick.

I know they don't really play a base, but if slaton is a player where does he line up? right over center, then move kenny clark to end?

If his weight really is down in that 310-320 range then I don't think it's crazy to put him as your other end opposite Keke.

I’d be surprised if he was a butter burger below 330 right now.

This second video is nuts. He takes on two big oline guys and shrugs them off. Wtf.

I'm also getting grave digger vibes. He will be most welcome in green Bay and if he can make a few plays will have his own custom burger.

Poor Gilbert. Gets his own burger and it was from gross-ass Burger King.

Re: Round 5: Tadarrel Slaton
This feels a lot like Montravious Adams, but at least from the interviews I have seen with Slaton, he seems wired a bit differently. Both guys have a ton of talent but inconsistent. Would be huge if he can step up and give us at least a two down run stuffer, anything beyond that is just a cherry on top.

Re: Round 5: Tadarrel Slaton
Feels like the issue with Montravious was that he was constantly hurt. When he played I thought he was actually pretty decent and a noticeable upgrade over Lancaster or whatever other big body run stuffer we've had over the past several years. Just need a guy that can spell Kenny for some snaps or in case of injury. Not a coincidence that our run defense tanked in the 4 games that Clark was out.
