Given that the starters (mostly) sat for the pre-season, attrition is taking a surprisingly early toll on depth. Several of the injuries are just flukes, so it shouldn't be an accumulation of wear-and-tear at this point. Maybe Z's back is though.

Stokes was OK yesterday but I thought there were a few plays where he was beat and Ben just missed the throw. If Ben is any good, one or two of those might have gone for a touchdown.

This is very true. I said at least 3 or 4 times that Juju had a step on Stokes and Ben underthrew him.

A rookie CB being average is a huge win. As are two rookie OL and whatever you want to classify Nijman as.
