Taylor runs a 4.41. Happy for the kid. Hope it silences the idiots who questioned his speed.

Is Taylor a first rounder after that 40 time?

Yeah I think that will silence some idiots. My dream of him being there for the pack end of Rd 2 is over.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Best WR at #30 and Trade up in 2nd for Jonathon Taylor
I'd sign Hooper and Littleton in FA to fill those needs.

Taylor shouldn't even make it to us in the 1st.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread
I definitely consider Taylor at 30 if he's there with that combine..he showed he can catch a lot better then i expected as well...i doubt he gets to us now but if he's there and the WR's you really like are gone id really consider that...then move jones or williams for a draft pick

Re: 2020 Draft Thread
If he is there he should probably be the pick. MLF obviously wants to run the ball, AJ shouldnt be considered a durable workhorse, we saw a huge dropoff in the offense when Jones sat last year so having another dynamic RB would alleviate that but really the biggest reason to would be that they wouldn't feel pressured to give Jones a huge paydayBallinBucks420 wrote:I definitely consider Taylor at 30 if he's there with that combine..he showed he can catch a lot better then i expected as well...i doubt he gets to us now but if he's there and the WR's you really like are gone id really consider that...then move jones or williams for a draft pick
I'm normally against taking RBs high (not to mention I generally think most Packers fans overrate Badgers) but if Taylor is available hes going to be tough to pass on

The thing is more often than not they'd be right. Wisconsin has produced a lot of great pros in the last decade that GB passed on.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread
More like about the same as any other big program. Badgers just get played up even more so pre draft largely due to proximityReasonablySober wrote:RRyder823 wrote:If he is there he should probably be the pick. Wait, people were questioning JT's speed? That might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Shenault needs a surgery after the combine....probably falls now and maybe we can get him in the second round.

Re: 2020 Draft Thread
Linebacker 40yd times: Simmons.....
http://www.nfl.com/combine/top-performers#year=2020&workout=FORTY_YARD_DASH&position=LB
Murray, Queen, and Baun pretty respectable
Simmons is one of those extraordinary athletes, who is also pretty damn good at several skills. He's surely gone between 5 -10 range

Jeez, both Murray and Queen pulled hammys during their 40 runs.

I am sure someone may take him like 25.
Us taking him at 30 is a mistake over WR AND MLB. That's why like pick 40 I can live with.
