I'm intrigued by Isaiah Neyor, 6'4 220, runs 4.4 with a 34' wingspan. Was buried in Texas depth chart and finally got to showcase himself at Nebraska. A bit old at 24, that might work against him but I hope they bring him back in the practice squad.

When I think of first-round picks, I equate them to eight years of premium talent under team control, so I view that the Packers would need to sacrifice 16 years of potential first-round, in-house talent for Parsons at age 26.

Well, it's a 1st-Team All-Pro or 2 mid to late 1st round picks and considering we don't draft well in the 1st round, it could turn out iton 2 rotational players, maybe 1 above average starter.

Going all-in with Gary and Micah would be really nice, then next season we could trade Gary as suggested in the article. Maybe even LVN could get his spot as a starter in 2026.

Im normally against trading high draft capital (much less a ton of high draft captial) for a player but this defense is a top flight edge rusher away from being a top 2-3 unit and with what we have on offense this a trade to 100% go all in on

And it's not like we would be trading for an older player, he is young and his age matches our roster, so it's not like a 1-2 years all-in window.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's pretty close to what I was thinking. I think they keep an extra corner though since Hobbs has been out most of camp. Hadden is probably next up for me in that room and is a boundary corner.

Still not sure how the IDL shakes out. I don't think they end up keeping 6 so if they think a guy like Colby or Brooks have reached their peaks and want to invest in Stackhouse/Brinson more, Bobs cut of Colby makes some sense.

Isaiah Simmons as linebacker was a failed experiment, but I still could see Rich Bisachia making a case to keep him on since he's been starting him at gunner opposite Bo Melton all pre-season. Welch is the better LB and also pretty good at special teams in his own right, but probably not at a spot of need.

Maybe not surprising that the lists are pretty similar, with the only real difference is for the tail end spots on both lines.

I will be surprised if Hardman makes the 53. The guy on the softest sand is probably Isaiah Simmons.

Then, of course, whoever gets cut by another team may become a surprise choice too.

Brinson is making the team but Stackhouse most likely won't. He's only a run stuffer and from what I've seen in preseason games he's pretty average. They can stash him on the practice squad pretty easily. I still believe Brooks is not a full time DT but more a hybrid DE/DT who should play DE on run downs and plays inside on passing down. He was a menace as a OLB/DE in college.

What does that mean for Walker? What does that mean for OL cutdowns this week?

Kinnard has been in the NFL for 3 seasons and has won 3 Superbowls
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

I don't think it has anything to do with Walker but more with the depth and the fact that Belton is not ready for playing time at RT yet.

I assumed the 2024 1st round pick (Morgan) and 2025 2nd round pick (Belton) would be sufficient to back Walker and Tom at Tackle.

Apparently not.

EDIT, see Kinnard might also play some Guard, so maybe Morgan & Belton are good at Tackle and Gutey is less enamored with the interior backups.

Kinnard started getting cross trained at guard more this off-season. Better piece than going with Donovan Jennings and Monk (who I think is hurt anyways) and can also get reps at tackle.

Starters = Walker, Banks, Jenkins, Morgan, Tom

Bench = Telfort, Ryan, Kinnard, Belton

9/10 is that sweet spot for OL and I think they can get away with 9 with how interchangeable they can get.
