Good news to see him back. hope he can develop and possibly work his way into the backup guard position this year.

ILB, outside of Blake, is the one position that feels especially thin. Are they hoping Burks makes a leap?

How come it seems like most NFL teams do press conferences with their newly drafted players but the Packers never do?

Because it does not matter? Feel free to quote me in 2022 when a few of them are still on the team..... maybe.

It's an interesting question why they don't. The fans enjoy seeing these guys before they hit the field. By comparisson, think of the time and some expense the Packers (other teams as well) put into the bus junkets by retired players to the outer parts of the empire. Those trips are big hits with the fans in those areas. It's just good PR.

Man, I'd have to dig back into some really old threads but he had some pretty awful takes/analysis back in the day. Always room for improvement in people so I have no idea what level of work he does now.

This is shaping up to be the most excited I've been heading into a season in about 5 years.

New look offense, and a defense that will actually have a playmaker or two at each level. The last few years, you had to just cross your fingers and hope for the best when they were on the field.

The defense has a ton of talent and a great DC

Offense I'm worried about, but we should have a solid OL which is the most important thing besides QB

not sure i would call our OL solid just yet. We have both G spots in play as Taylor sucked lat season - and he was not anything special when he did played well.
MAYBE 2nd rd Jgones mite be good as a rookie with LG and Turner at RG. Madison could be Ok backup but if he had to start this season - not solid. What happens if Bulaga goes down? (What happens when Bulaga goes down0 - Turner goes to RT and Madison or McKinny or Patrick play RG??

and we have no one to play LT if Bahkti even needs a couple snaps off much less goes down. Rogers would not last the season.

Hopefully Gutey can make magic with a trade or signing for an old vet who can play either OT whose former team promoted a younger guy and has a season or 2 left in his tank
