It's certainly an interesting flier to take

I remember him having some impactful games during the start of his career under Rivera and then he just fell off a cliff. Still only 25 so maybe a Gutey reclamation project that pays off ala Rasual Douglas/De'Vondre Campbell

Commanders trading all the former staff's top picks: Sweat, Chase Young, Dotson, now Davis. Davis was injured and had reckless driving charges last year. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/10/22/jamin-davis-cut-commanders/

Really athletic guy 1st round pick who has some struggles at LB... sounds like a guy we have already. But hopefully he settles in here and ends up contributing!

Xavier Mckinney is the first Packers player to win Defensive Player of the Month since Atari Bigby in December of 2007

Woodson won it three times in a row in 2009, and he's just the first person I looked up.

My apologies. I read the tweet wrong, I missed the word safety. X is the first Packers Safety to win DPOM since Atari Bigby in 2008

Not a great sign that I'm checking Spotrac to find out when our first possible out is on Love's deal (it's in '27).

Eh. I get the Love interceptions are frustrating but the good outweighs the bad. The numbers haven't been updated for this week yet but coming into this week Love was 12th in the NFL in adj EPA/Play(ahead of guys like Mahomes, Darnold, Stafford, Stroud, Dak, Herbert, etc.) Our offense was 5th in DVOA. We are nowhere near disaster territory with Love. He hasn't been elite but he's still been an above average starting QB this year despite being hobbled for most of the season and our offense has been very good as a whole. This week probably drops those numbers a bit but not drastically.

Anyone have any trade rumors with this team? Feels like this team needs a splash or 2.

There's two types of teams that should make deadline trades imo. Aging vet teams that want to get a superbowl before their star players start to fade. The other type are teams who haven't had success in a long time and need a little extra for that elusive playoff run.

I'm not sure the Packers fit in either category. They're young and their superbowl window is just now opening up, and they've had success for decades so they're not desperate like say Washington or Chicago.

Only trade i'd consider are for a proven corner or a game changer edge. I doubt the Packers will be willing to part with the draft capital to get Garret/Crosby if they are even up for trade.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Sure would nice to have Rasul Douglas and not really have to worry about whether we need to trade for a corner. Have to believe Gute regrets that move.

My priorities are #1 pass rusher and #2 CB.

I'd go all-in on Crosby. He's still in his physical prime and he's got 2 more years on his contract. He's worth the investment.
