That's what you want to see after 14 games.

Our soft zone coverage against Miami is going to be very difficult to watch

Nice another meaningless win to drop our draft pick

Amari Rodgers returning kicks and punts for the Packers instead of Keisean Nixon for over half of the 2022 season is one of the biggest personnel head scratchers I can remember.

They played well for the most part.
However, I consider this win and the bears win to be malfeasance on the part of management and coaches.
They could have been tied for the second worst record in the league right now.
I'll say I was wrong if they make the playoffs, but otherwise the team is behaving in such a way to lose value.

Especially because he wasn't any good at this last season too, so it's not like he has shown some potential in previous seasons.

Would tankers be mad if the team made the playoffs?

Absolutely not but it is pretty unrealistic to expect this team to beat Miami and Minnesota and have outside help to get in

Also the Lions are no longer a gimme win

Eh, this is based on the Washington and NYG having difficult remaining schedules but clearly doesn't take into account that they each have a very "difficult" final game against a team that will probably have nothing to play for in the final week, referring to vs. Dallas and @Philly respectively. Philly has a magic number of 1 in the East and Dallas has 2 more wins than any other wild card contender, with almost no chance of winning their division. That means they likely won't even have playoff seeding at stake in week 18.

That said, I don't know all the tiebreakers, but the Packers still need a lot of help.

Yes, because even if we make it, we would lose in the first playoff game because our team is not fully healthy, IMO.

Philly still needs to win 1 more game to lock up #1. Hurts may sit out @ Dallas so he is 100% when they host the Saints. If they choke in that game, they may actually have to play everyone in their finale against the Giants.

Good point, but they would still have a decent chance of beating Dallas IMO, and a very strong chance of beating New Orleans. Dallas also has a pretty tough game at Tennessee in week 17. The chances of Dallas beating Philly and @Tennessee, with Philly also losing at home to New Orleans, can't be great.

In any case, the whole playoff odds "if the Packers win out" is kind of a joke IMO. Rather see the playoffs odds if the Packers beat Detroit and win just one other game, as that seems much more realistic. The defense still looked very vulnerable last night, despite the final results, and they were lucky to go against such a train-wreck of an offensive line.

This isn't the NBA. You're not fighting for the right to get smacked by a dominant team in the first round. Simulate this season a dozen times and the results would be all over the place. Making the playoffs seems extraordinarily unlikely to me, but now that they're out of the running for a top pick, a playoff berth would be much more valuable than rising a few spots in the draft.

I'm not annoyed that they're finally winning and playing smart football. I'm annoyed that it took this long to figure **** out on offense. Great to see a lot of the rookies developing and making big plays. Just wish a certain guy who should/could be the future of the franchise out there developing with them.

The most annoying thing by far is the Amari Rodgers debacle. Such a simple change that doesn't make any major waves to just get rid of him. Yet he was still back there returning kicks.

We score a TD to go up 7-0 @ Washington, force a 3 and Out on the very next possession, and then Rodgers fumbles the punt giving them the ball on our 17. Just a momentum-killer that gave them a jolt.

Add in all of the field position he gave up by letting balls bounce or with awful returns, and he was just brutal for this team.

By the way, other than occasionally being overpowered, I thought Zach Tom looked really good at left tackle. A lot better than Bakhtiari has been this year, quite frankly.
