Going all in on Mckinney makes so much sense. True impact guy at your only real huge weakness. As young as some rookies so his best ball is likely ahead of him. Allows you to not reach in the draft with a very weak safety class and just do the Ted "let the board do its thing" strategy. Really hope they can land him even if its a huge deal. Feels like the last piece.

I don't know if we'll ultimately sign him or not but Gute is not TT. We've seen him spend the money when its been available. He just had no room to spend the last few years.

Rayshawn Jenkins would be okay but not exactly someone I’d be all that excited over. McKinney would be real exciting tho.

Agreed. Mckinney would feel closer to somewhere between Woodson/Peppers as far as impact whereas someone like Jenkins would be more akin to Amos and even that might be a bit too generous.

Hopefully signing two safeties is an option they are considering.

I would assume Jenkins would be for depth/competition.

Bahk was a hell of a player but it was time
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Still unreal that a knee injury completely ruined him in the prime of his career, especially in the modern era when you see so many guys do the rehab and come back more or less completely fine.

I think if we’re really going for a game changer it’s Justin Simmons for me. I think he’s got that Charles Woodson level signing essence but McKinney is pretty close as well. The age gap obviously favors McKinney but I’d give the edge to Simmons as an instant impact player that could change the whole look of the defense. Jenkins doesn’t do much for me at all. He’d be fine but I agree I think even Amos level is generous.

Sad day. Had to be done of course. Still sad.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

So is all this money we’re currently saving with the cuts and restructures just all gonna end up in Loves next contract? Lol. It’d be a nice change of scenery to have at least 1 off season of spending before we’re right back to paying the QB insane money.
