So that girl in purple is the divergent girl? Wow, looks a lot different without the makeup, barely recognized her.

Bizarre thing to say.

Let me break that down a little further.

Remember when we let the other HOF QB go 12-13 years ago and the corncob fans were lighting their Packer stock on fire and I and some others on here were in the vocal minority saying, "this was the right call" as Favre started out hot for the Jets and had an epic Vikings season?

This one is a bit more nuanced because I think most of the same folks aren't as high on Love as Rodgers and Rodgers may still have a bit more in the tank, but regardless, if we had a crystal ball and I was told we'd have 5 more "close but no cigar" years with Rodgers before sucking rather than 10 years of soul-searching if we traded Rodgers this year...I guess I'd take the former. And there's obviously more of a chance of winning it all with Rodgers in the next 2-3 years.

Like I said, I think I'm still somewhat in the camp of extending Rodgers and eating away the rest of our roster as we ride off into the sunset with 3 more NFC Championship losses in the next 5 years...but there is definitely a path where we trade in a bunch of years where Rodgers can't carry us to the title and we sell high while we still can and start the next era...and maybe we have a loaded defense and new QB (Love or somebody else) that has us at 11 or 12 wins by 2022 or 2023.

Rodgers to tee it up against Brady & Phil, partnering with Bryson DeChambeau...

Rodgers sure does a lot of cool stuff for being so insecure and lovesick - takes on this board about him are beyond funny.

Good. When you have a CB as good as Jarie you should actually use him. Move him around, have him travel with WRs, and leave him on an island. Having a great CB should tilt the field for a D and at times I felt like they used him like you would an average starter.

Yup. I wonder at some point if they haven't already if they come to Rodgers and say look we need to rebuild in a year so you probably don't want to be here for that anyway. Basically tell him they promise to trade him next winter, but not sooner. He then can decide to play or sit out the year.

* I say this with the caveat that personally I wouldn't have drafted Love but once that Love pick was made and Rodgers got mad this winter I would have traded rodgers at the draft.

I think we should step back and appreciate what a hilarious disappointment the 2010s turned out to be after the SB.

I'm shocked there hasn't been more buzz here about the receivers not attending OTAs. Some of the other forums I frequent are in total meltdown mode, calling for guys to be dumped or traded lol

All the more reason to allocate "rookie scale" moneys to someone who'd contribute.

Yep, like a defensive lineman or 2. Common denominator with our NFC championship game losses - both teams had vastly superior defensive lines. Sure would like to know what Lancaster & Lowry have on Gute.

I feel like this came up before, and when the onion got peeled back on both guys, they were essentially both average players making average money. That could have been from a different site, not sure if it was discussed here, but I am pretty sure that was the conclusion in the end.

For pff, Lancaster graded out #59 for interior defender and Lowry #79...I guess that would put guys in an average #3 tackle range.

Clark was #23 and Keke was #46...Now Lowry did play the most snaps of the group (other than Clark) and I am hopeful Slaton is getting some of those snaps this year, and then Keke can spell him for pass rush situations.

Yeah if we're being honest they need Clark to be better than he was last season. That injury seemed to zap his burst for the first half last year.

I would have been cool moving on from Lowery. The hate Lancaster gets is odd to me, yeah he probably played a little more than is ideal but realistically he's a perfectly fine rotation run stuffing guy.

The "everything is fine" people today were also the "everything is fine" people back in 2012 and onward, providing hearty defenses of the Packers approach against the mes and rilamanns of the world.

This is a general "I told (some of) you so." 8-)
