Use two of the first 4 picks on Olave and Pierce. Boom, Super Bowl.

Trade up for a backup QB, we can't rely on Love anymore.

The year to grab a WR was 2020.

Jameson Williams has to be the #1 WR on the board, regardless of the injury. After that I’d be happy with any of the Big Ten WR’s, Wilson (probably gone), Olave, Dotson, Bell all seem like great fits.

My heart wants Burks but my brain says the OSU guys are your best shot at getting your own Justin Jefferson.

Bell would be acceptable but probably the least possible exciting WR we could draft

Jameson gives you a better MVS the day he can step on the field with tons of upside from there which would be fun

What are the odds of the Pack flipping some of the bevy of picks for a veteran?

I think the best bet at a Justin Jefferson is probably Wilson. I think he's more boom/bust than Olave, who I think will have a higher floor and lower ceiling. Olave strikes me more as a #2. Would still take a shot on him. He probably contributes earlier unless Wilson really hits, too.

JSN is the real prize (2023). My goodness he was incredible the second half of this past season.

ETA: I mean for the OSU guys only. I am not studied up on the draft or prospects this year.

Serious question, when is the last time the GREEN BAY PACKERS "flipped" any round 1-5 pick for a veteran?

Has it been done this century?

You need cap space to flip picks for vet. We just traded Adams with the idea that we will be resigning Campbell, Douglas, maybe MVS, etc.

Just don't see it happening but never say never.

You could be right, my thought was more like a day 1 starter that looks like he could put up 1000 yards under Rodgers. Like I said, I would love Burks, but I am not sure he gets much usage here. Whereas Wilson, Olave and maybe Bell, could be catching passes from Rodgers the second they arrive.

Campbell is already signed so we have $20 million in cap space right now. Douglas + MVS + another vet with a relatively low cap hit is pretty doable

However I don't see a lot of trade scenarios for that. Free agent vet is more likely

If Williams or Olave are off the board, I wouldn't feel entirely terrible if we spent our 1st rounders elsewhere and wait for the 2nd-3rd rounds to nab some pass catchers. Pickens, Skyy Moore, Wan'Dale, Alec Pierce, Christian Watson, Metchie, Tolbert... lots of depth this year, thankfully.

It's hard to imagine a WR having a Jefferson-like rookie year playing with Rodgers.

Campbell is not signed as far as I know, they just agreed to a deal for after sorting out the salary cap, I think.

I've seen both(agreed to/signed), but according to Packers.com, Campbell did sign as on yesterday (Mar 17)
https://www.packers.com/news/packers-re-sign-lb-devondre-campbell-march-2022
The Green Bay Packers re-signed LB De'Vondre Campbell. The transaction was announced Thursday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Now, I don't know what the cap numbers are - at all. They seem to be a very moving target at this date.
