He's 26 and was right back to being a Top-5 cover corner in football last season. If that's not a guy you think is a foundational piece on defense worth keeping, then no one is.

I can't speak for others but for me I wouldn't have actively shopped him but if a team came at me and offered 2 1sts(think Jamal Adams or Jalen Ramsey) I'd have taken that. I still think Jaire can be a big contributor for the next good Packer team, but he's also been pretty bad this year and it's possible the back injury is the beginning of the end for him.

Problem is that Jenkins, Clark or Jaire are not playing well (or at least close to their expectation), so their value is all-time low, not the best time to trade them.

Sanders being a Top-5 pick might even be crazier than Anthony Richardson going 4th.

I had him in my top six in early October. I think the only thing that might drop him, for me at least, is health. The kid is just getting destroyed.

I know the mocks are particularly volatile this time of year, but aren't Penix Jr and Kitchens popping up early on many projections?

Penix is a bit older and he's got injury issues. Kitchens is solid but he's also seemingly always getting hurt.

Think we keep sucking and end up at 3 behind Chicago(Carolina) and Arizona.

This draft is going to be so frustrating knowing the Bears will likely have 2 of the first 5 picks. Maybe 2 of top 3. Ugh.

Think of him as a 6'4" 240 lb Deebo Samuel and be thankful the Packers might be in position to draft him.

I agree....but you know if we have a chance to draft Bowers this is exactly what everyone says.

I remember you and I discussing Deebo, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf the year we drafted Gary, Jenkins, Savage.

As good as the draft we had, imagine using all three of those picks on Deebo, AJ Brown, and DK. That offense would have been crazy. You don't pass up talent because you already drafted that position.

Reading a seven round mock draft from the Pro Football Network and they have seven QBs going in the top 20. Including one to Green Bay:

6) Green Bay Packers: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
It might be too early to write off Jordan Love, but if Green Bay has a premium pick, they can’t pass on a high-end talent just because of him. Love has been erratic, just like he was in college, and his upside might peak as a below-average passer. That’s not good enough.

There will be big feelings about Shedeur Sanders as a prospect, but he’s worth the hype. He’s tough as nails, taking many hits at Colorado and overcoming a bad supporting cast. His explosiveness as a passer is complemented by excellent decision-making and accuracy.

I think if we don't land in the top 2-3 we end up going WR, TE, or OT and "Give Love a Chance."

Not sure if that is what I want, but I am confident that would be our plan.

I don’t see us taking a QB in the first unless it’s Williams or Maye.

If we don't land in the top two I hope we're trading way the hell down. This draft is super deep in positions we have needs.

If any of those 2nd tier QBs fall to our early 2nd rounder, I wouldn't be opposed to taking one and giving Love some competition. Have to start looking beyond the top guys now that the Williams/Maye ship has likely sailed.

It wouldn't shock me if Maye wasn't the #2 QB. There are guys with bigger arms, better accuracy, and more athleticism in this class.

And miss out on Bowers who you've been coveting for like 5 years?
