I'll hang up and listen, but it's clear most of you haven't actually set foot within IG Field. Superlative in-game experience imo. You'll see.

Re: 2019 Packers Off Season Thread - Training Camp Starts 7/25
I looked at the Ticketmaster site and it gave a warning that prices will fluctuate based on demand and resale value. I noticed it's down to $160.
I'm assuming they've got an algorithm for this and one of two things:
1. Basically they are willing to try to bring in suckers/early buyers for a $200 seat to get in and the tickets will drop to $30-40 several days before the game for nosebleeds and $70-80 for lower. I know that most probably still wouldn't buy at that point but maybe that's their point where they think they'll make the most money.
2. The algorithm has misfired on this one, badly.
EDIT: It is already down to $120, give or take (I'm too lazy to do the $CA to USD conversion).

I completely missed that we released Jason Spriggs. What a huge bust.

It was nice to hear that Kenny Clark wants to come back. He's going to get a monster contract from the Packers. And he's about to have an All-Pro season.

Re: 2019 Packers Off Season Thread - Packers Release Jason Spriggs
In spite of the pans for his overall analysis, I thought Lofton's critical comments on J'Mon Moore's wifty pass-catching technique was interesting. Even the two he caught were bobbled.
Adams(obviously), MVS, Allison are locks to make the final WR roster. Kumerow, Davis, Lazard, Shepherd, ESB at this point are all out-performing Moore. Does Moore get cut sooner or later? Or, does his 4th round pick status buy him more time than his performance would call for?

Unless they just absolutely love his get open ability and feel like he can develop like Adams did after some struggles I'd say he's gone. The 4th round pick thing bought him a year but now it's produce or get cut time.Treebeard wrote:In spite of the pans for his overall analysis, I thought Lofton's critical comments on J'Mon Moore's wifty pass-catching technique was interesting. My picks for WR
Adams, Allison, MVS, ESB, Kumerow, Lazard................with Redding, Sheppard, DAVIS (My pick) and Moore fighting for the final spot
Really hoping our WR core steps up this year. Still young with a lot of potential.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

You think they are keeping 7 wr? I thought it would be only 6. I think Davis is kept over Lazard because of his return ability. He was also having a good camp on offense. I like Sheppard. He seems like a natural slot receiver.
Will they only keep 3 TEs? If so Lewis or Tonyan is gone.

I think we have to. Especially if we keep only 1 backup QB and not 2.
Would like to keep Lazard but yeah I agree on Davis and Sheppard. Both can return too I think.
For TE......Graham, Lewis, Tonyan and Sternberger all make it. Lewis is gone next year and that will leave only 3.

Ugh, what a brutal injury. He was projected to have a really good year.

Death taxes and the packers losing a LB in the preseason. Sure things in life.
