Whats really incredible is that on the night of the draft 95% of Packers fans hated the Jordan Love pick for two obvious reasons. 1. We didn't spend a 1st round pick on a player to help us win a Super Bowl. 2. The timeline simply made zero sense. Fast forward to today and Packers fans are split pretty evenly between Team Organization and Team Rodgers. So while none of what has transpired this offseason has been the least bit surprising to me, it sure has been interesting to watch the 50ish% go from "dumb f***ing pick!!!" to "dumb Aaron Rodgers!!!" as if they were completely blindsided by our known chipstacking 3x MVP, first ballot Hall of Famer taking exception to not being treated like a 3x MVP, first ballot Hall of Famer.

Wanna try that again?

Highest among people who gave a grade was an A.

30% gave either an A or a B.

The LOWEST grades were D or an F.

I can only speak for myself, I found the Love pick, um, surprising. But with that said, I recognized after you looked under the hood of the TD:INT Rodgers appeared to be on the decline, so I came to terms with it.

Add in to that, I don't think Rodgers is in the right here (not that I don't have exceptions with the team, I do), so I've slid more Team Packers over time, or at the very least, less Team Rodgers.

This isn't a 50/50 split in the fan base. Come up with whatever reason you want for it and whether they're right or or wrong but it seems pretty obvious the majority is backing the organization regardless of how the media is portraying it

Rodgers called their bluff and won.

So rather than praise, they deserve scorn.

Called what bluff? Where is the bluff? He's got a base salary of $25 million, $11 million bonus, and a cap hit of almost $40 million. And the Packers still want him back!

The cap hit is Gute's creation, just like he created the huge balloon in cap hit with the Smith's. Smith's alone are a cap hit of $48m in 2022. They won't be worth half that.
This was planned, as he planned to dump Rodgers to create the space.

I will push back on this some. The pandemic which caused a huge drop in the cap this season caused them to push a ton of money into next year because they tried to keep the team together. Not sure they could have planned for the huge cap drop when they dipped in free agency a couple of years ago and when they signed Rodgers to his extension.

Ok, fine. How about just being treated as well as the Alex Smith's and Andy Dalton's of the world? Or is that too much of an ask?

Nah, they're apparently primadonna's too if they need to be tied into QB draft picks their team's make.

Pretty funny that you have Giannis pic displayed as you bitch about teams catering to their stars.

You do know the Bucks didn't sign Thanasis for his defensive prowess, right?

Ok, enough arguing. We should be focusing on this Miles Teller guy's instagram posts. That's what really matters here

Teller is an Eagle's fan. We just signed DeAndre Thompkins, WR that was with the Eagles last year.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/05/26/packers-sign-receiver-deandre-thompkins/

This is a stretch at best to justify Teller's tweet, looks more like a troll to me.
