Imagine getting a 2nd or 3rd for Love now as well. Could have lots of ammo to trade up.

Arod can't always go to Devante, if he doesn't have Devante.

Anything is possible. But it seems like this might be the year to trade down with one of those Firsts. Still pretty thin at some spots. WR, OT, Edge to name a few. Gute can make a killing if he plays his cards right.

People get excited about trading up because it's "being aggressive" but in the NFL draft trading down or standing pat is normally the smart play

Trade value chart says packaging the 2 Seconds could get you into the bottom of Round 1. That would be interesting. But at the end of the day, the more Top 50 picks you have, the better your odds. Plus I don't think you want too many 5th year options coming due all at once.

I'd bring him back cheap but I certainly wouldn't get into any bidding war

The Packers themselves have won seven straight games with Adams inactive, scoring 24, 30, 37, 31, 42, 23, and 34 points in those games. It is very different playing a full season without a star player versus sporadic missed games, but these are not the splits I anticipated.

I would think any agent of a receiver would be doing whatever they could to get their client to gb. One of the best qbs, national spotlight from being on a contender, and no other #1 or #2 WR on the roster. Its a golden opportunity for someone to blowup like Douglas/Campbell did last year.

Sign someone to a prove it 1-2 year deal, resign MVS (if cheap), rework Cobbs deal and draft a WR early. Add in amari and lazard its not a great WR group but maybe enough to get by until one of the young WRs gets cooking.

I'd be open to many options at WR. Sign Laundry to a 3 year deal.

Draft Chris Olave (1st) and David Bell (2nd)

1st) Laundry
2nd) Lazard
3rd) Cobb
4th) Olave
5th) Bell
6th) Rodgers

Other options....Julio, Fuller, Hilton, JuJu, OBJ

Interesting. MVS wants to take a sorta 1 year prove it deal, bet on himself and try to secure the long term back next year.

Think having 3 WR2s is better than WR1, WR3, WR5.

This could work out fine. But would be even better if we had Higgins.

This feels like a bad move for a win now team, in that rookie receivers don’t always make a big impact.

Then again, the Raiders shooting their load on a guy like Adams is classic Al Davis. No way he ends up worth half that money

Hopefully Gute can make one of the draft picks work for an eventual pro bowler.

The Pack absolutely need someone like MVS with spook the secondary speed but it would be nice if that guy could do a little more than MVS. I could live with bringing him back on a 1 year deal then drafting his deep threat replacement and using this as a bridge year.

Yea - not interested in a bidding war for MVS. Seems like the typical track guy playing football who will always have some sort of injury. Go get a pure WR ala Greg Jennings
