Because of so many trades using picks as collateral?

One winner (usually). If more than one survive all the way through the money is split. If all remaining players are eliminated the same week, the money is split. Otherwise just one winner. There are currently about 15,000 entrants so $15 million to the winner.
Survivor contests usually use Thursday-Monday for the lineup of games. Circa does too with 2 big exceptions. Thanksgiving/Black Friday (4 games) is a separate week. So is Xmas (3 games). The Thanksgiving one pretty much means you have to save Philly for that week (vs. Bears). The other games (Packers/Lions, Chiefs/Cowboys, Ravens/Bengals) are tougher. Chiefs would be tempting but Dallas has won the last 3 on Thanksgiving so who knows.
Some people scoff at saving teams, you just need to survive week to week. And that's fine if there are several payouts. But if it's winner take all you have to think long term. Xmas has 3 tough games too, especially late in the season after injuries have come into play.
I'm taking Denver in week one. Some are taking the Bengals over the Browns. Bengals are 1-11 the first 2 weeks the past 2 seasons.
Last year the Patriots beat the Bengals in week 1 and knocked a lot out. And the Raiders beat the Raven in Baltimore in week 2, so it was thinned big time.
