I'm 100% fine with not trading Doubs this season and just letting him walk next year. He is a good player and a mostly reliable, safety blanket guy for both of our QB's. That said, his concussion history scares me. He might be the only guy to get one with the new guardian cap and seems like he might be one or two away from calling it.

I would need atleast a 2nd to move on from Doubs and that seems unlikely that a team would offer that. We'll likely get a 4th or 5th as a comp pick from him so I would need to get significantly more than that to make it worthwhile

For as beat up as WRs can get, you can never have enough skills in that bunch. Keep Doubs on the roster, unless some GM loses his mind and makes too good of an offer.

Deal is even better than initially reported

High quality starting corner is where the convo starts and ends with a Doubs trade. Picks are irrelevant.

If true that's pretty shi..y but I'm glad we got Parsons out of it instead.

Rapaport reported that we were the most engaged on Hendrickson, though apparently we weren't willing to include Kenny Clark (at least in initial discussions) before Cincy pulled out.

I'd have to see the actual offer, of course. No way am I sending the same package for a 30 year old Hendrickson over a 26 year old Parsons.

Maybe they twisted it on 97.3. Tauscher and Wilde reported terms were agreed to and everything was set including the extension with Hendrickson then when it was time to file the paperwork with the NFL the Bengals walked back and also demanded Clark. At that point we just walked away. If true, sounds like the Bengals did all of that for us to negotiate Hendrickson's extension.

But I agree, no way I do that deal for him since Hendrickson is older than Clark.

It might have more advanced than Rapoport reported. I can't imagine we would have sent two 1s for a DE turning 31 in December, especially on top of whatever extension we were going to offer. I figured he could be had for a 2 or a 3, even.

Team needs to get healthy. Luckily these aren't season ending injuries and they have CLE and Dal then a Bye. so hopefully some of these guys can be ready after the bye. What is the timetable for the returns of the injuries for Reed, Thom, Banks?

Torn oblique could take some time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Crap.... Any news on Banks availability?

Good thing there appears to be some decent depth.

That weasel Hutchinson with an unnecessary push of Love that made Tom jump out of the way and get hurt. Yes Hutchinson was called for a personal foul, but still. I wonder if in that moment he was trying to get at Tom by pushing Love into him, like a frustration foul. D*** move anyway.

This honestly doesn't make much sense to me.

The way they're built with a shoddy OL and loaded WR/RB group and some likely shootouts, I'd rather have Browning just chucking the ball.

Willis is great as a backup option - but you have to be able to build his game around the RPO sort of stuff. Perfect for our roster.

Yeah and its not like Browning hasnt stepped in and played well for them before

That said if they wanted to just give us Hendrickson for him.....................

Unless they're offering us a legit Day 2 pick then I don't see why we'd do that. Especially considering we play them in a month.

Good timing, even if they bring Watson back with snap count limits, and even if they mostly use him as a decoy to dtretch the field. Watson and Golden go deep, and Kraft, Jacobs, Musgrave, Wicks across the middle
