I will be absolutely fascinated to see how playing time shakes out for the WR room.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Quick, name another team with an equal or worse group of pass catchers that has ever won a Super Bowl?

Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin.

2000 Ravens Super Bowl WR's were complete trash. Top WR had 655 yards. Second best WR had 276 yards.

True, but they also had Shannon Sharpe.

The legendary Seahawk Legion of Boom defense gave up a league leading 14.4 points per game in 2013.

If in 2022 the Pack has the #1 scoring D and the O can rush for over 2,000 yards (like the Beast Mode led Seattle attack did in 2013), then I'd agree the Pack's cast of misfit WRs would be on par with Seattle's cast of pass catchers.

Seattle's WR/TE group included Tate (898 yards), Baldwin (778 yards), Kearse (348 yards), Sidney Rice (241 yards before injury knocked him out -- the Cobb/Watkins of that team), Zach Miller (387 yards) and Luke Willson (272 yards).

Now, who believes we can write it down that the Pack is going to rush for over 2,000 yards and lead the league in scoring D to overcome their pedestrian (at best) pass catchers like Seattle did 9 seasons ago?

Anyone?

Who can write it down that Dillon and Jones can't combine for 2,000 ?? They are certainly capable. Oh - and they both should add some receiving yards too. Jones had 1,500 total yards two years in a row when the OL was healthy
2022 is going to come down to the defense.

You asked a very specific question, got several answers answering your question and are now changing the topic to something else. Stop being a dick head.

Had Get Up on for some reason and heard Mike Tannenbaum say the Packers defense was poor. Dan Orlovsky shut that **** down immediately and Tannebaum had that always dumb look on his face.

With all the OL additions in the draft, I'm curious to see who comes out of camp and which guys get the backup roles. Guessing Nijman and Rhyan get first crack at RT1, unless they decide to finally put Jenkins over there. I'd rather keep him inside. Maybe Zach Tom shows out and can claim it.

Locks for 53 Man:
David Bahktiari
Elgton Jenkins
Josh Myers
Jon Runyan
Yosh Nijman
Sean Rhyan
-----------------------------
Likley on 53 Man:
Royce Newman
Zach Tom
---------------------------------
Outside Looking in:
Rasheed Walker
Cole Van Lanen
Jake Hansen
Michal Menet

That will be an interesting situation to watch. Given the level of attrition on the line last year, might they carry one more on the active roster? Or try to hide one more on the PS?

Newman is the guy who looks to be on the bubble at this point IMO. He had snaps where he looked like the real deal, followed by a snap where he either whiffed his block or was poorly placed. If he turns the corner this season, he's a keeper. If he's as inconsistent as last year, he may be on the bench

Lots of interesting things to watch in camp.

the Dline is going to be fun to watch playout. Curious to see where everyone ends up. Does Clark start playing on the end more? Slaton filling the middle? Slaton/Wyatt/Reed are probably going to be really competitive.

Jenkins starting out on IR will likely open a spot for another one of these guys to make the roster.

I think I read somewhere we played nickel like 80% of the time. Not sure if that number is right, but I remember thinking 'huh, I guess we aren't really a 3-4 then'

Some big boys on that d line this year. Our goaline defense should be very stout.

On a different site, I saw a lot of speculation Rhyan could be starting right tackle. That'd be an interesting development.

The guys you listed as "likely" are sure things, barring injury. Newman played on more snaps than any other OL.

He got those reps out of necessity. He showed flashes, but was also very inconsistent. I wouldn’t be shocked either way if he made the team or was ultimately cut. I don’t foresee that happening that’s why he’s likely on the 53.
