Not traditionally but I wouldn't put it past him in some instances. He's got awesome ball skills. I'd use him like the Ravens do Kyle Hamilton: 40% box, 35% deep, 25% slot.

Senior Bowl Game Notes:

Caleb Ransaw made some nice plays including an interception, while playing multiple alignments at DB today. Played some slot and outside corner as well as safety.

All that hype around Jaydon Blue potentially running a 4.2 or 4.1 40-yd run for him to go out there and run a 4.40 lol. Still an excellent time though.

Remember when Ricky Williams rushed for 2300 yards and won the Heisman, but was the second runningback taken behind Edgerrin James? Maybe I'm nuts but watching Bhayshul Tuten is making me think something like that could happen next April.

Donte Thornton running a 4.3 flat at 6'4, 205 Ibs. Not quite the complete athlete of Christian Watson but would make a fine field stretcher as long as you only having him run a few routes and get downhill with the ball. Big YAC guy.

Loved his film, he did fumble like 9 times in last 2 years though.

IF Myers is gone, they need another plug-and-play OLineman, whether by draft or FA. Hopefully Morgan's ready to go, but after him, depth is shallow IMO. Tom is great, Jenkins is great-ish, Rhyan is showing promise. I'm not crazy about Reed as being the best option at LT, either. After those guys, its crickets.

Have any beat guys asked MLF about Monk's season? He was seemingly the top interior backup early in the year, then we was inactive down the stretch.

I haven't heard anything yet. I'm guessing they gave him some healthy scratches since they had a few guys that could backup center with more experience. There are a few draft picks from last year that had a bit of a "redshirt" season, so hopefully we can squeeze more production from that crop of players (Morgan, Hopper, Monk, Lloyd).

I've been working on inputting combine data into my draft model and I came here to talk about Jared Wilson. Given his age, his tape, his combine scores. My model absolutely loves him and has him as squarely as a late R1 guy. If they could land him in R2 I'd run the card up
