Yeah, that was my thought as well. If we really want to trade for a guy Cory Davis checks a lot of boxes and depending on price I feel like Tyler Lockett would be a good get.

I absolutely had the same thought. I couldn't remember how far back he was always injured, but it was a while ago. He played 9 total games across the 15 and 16 seasons.

Yeah half a season of an at best league average TE doesn’t excite me much. Hope we are making another move there.

I've read it was a clean tear for Tonyan, with no other damage, and that he could be ready for the beginning of the season. ACL doesn't always mean it's a full year recovery like it once was.

He's not exactly a 30 year old 300lb lineman here. Deguara tore his in late September his rookie season and was on the field in early August. Blake Jarwin similar situation, back for training camp last year.

This makes me more optimistic then. Still not enamored in general, but much better news than someone posted last page about mid-season.

If the reports of Landry going back to Cleveland are true, is there anyone still out there that you'd want to sign in free agency other than I guess bringing MVS back or signing Fuller to be the one-trick speed guy?

The pickings look awfully slim.

And if the plan is to take WRs high in this year's draft does that mean those WRs are expected to contribute right away in year 1?

Cause I remember a lot of Packer fans being adamant that Jordan Love contributing nothing in 2020 did not really matter because a 1st round WR like Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman was not going to do anything to help the Pack get to the Super Bowl ... in 2020.

He said Chargers have 2 other young guys on their roster they really like and with the extension to Williams, that's a lot of money tied up to he and Allen.
