I've seen DK for one of our FRP. I'm on the fence, but I would probably take it. Means we traded Devante for DK and a 2nd.
Anyone else (who's been rumored to be available) you'd give up a FRP for?

I recall Chase Claypool maybe being on the block. He’d cost less than DK but give you a lot of the same big play ability

I watched the Steelers a few times last season. Claypool does many really good things: a mix of athletic play and smart positioning. He also has periodic in-game brain farts, where he's done some really dumb things too. Still, on the whole, he'd be a real plus.

I wonder how available though, now that Trubisky's there. Trubisky can actually throw the ball more than twenty yards with some accuracy, unlike the last couple of years of Big Ben. The Steelers now should have more of a downfield game

I am one of the biggest DK guys out there, but there is no way it will take a 1st and a 2nd......let alone two 1sts.

The dude is about to be a free agent and that team is rebuilding. He is coming off of a bad year. I am confident you can get him for a 2nd and if they want more than that then I pass unless he is willing to sign a team-friendly extension.

I'd rather just take my chances in the draft than spend money and picks on a veteran. Make Rodgers earn his money by making his receivers look better than they really are, as all great QB's are supposed to do on a regular basis. Being forced to distribute the ball to everyone has some advantages. I also like this draft for receivers, including NFL-ready ones like Olave.

I'd be intrigued for Lockett and Metcalf for 1st and two 2nds. Draft Olave with the other first.

1.) Lockett
2.) Metcalf
3.) Lazard
4.) Cobb
5.) Rodgers
6.) Olave

That's a superbowl winning lineup right there.

Plus, there's the Cap time bomb in 3years? With some talent on rookie contracts, or new extensions, you might be able to salvage something.

My brother and I were just talking about this the other day. I would pull the trigger on that trade immediately if available. I think that is best case scenario. I would love Olave too. Then we just need another TE to keep us afloat until Tonyan comes back mid season.

No way I’m trading a 1st and 2 2nds for a guy who turns 30 in the first month of the season and a guy in the last year before FA.

Just draft two WR out of those 3 picks you were going to trade.

I would IF DK signed a team-friendly extension. I don't think he does though so I agree. I would however contact Seattle about a Love for DK swap if it's possible.

Besides that, we have to trust our GMs to scout and we have to draft at least one WR in the 1st/2nd round.

I would not hate two in the first round at all. Jameson Williams and Olave would be ideal, but there are others you could talk me into (Drake London, Dotson especially). Don't know much about the others who are supposed to go in the first outside of Wilson who will go way too high.

One thing is for sure, if we draft or sign two new WRs (i.e. sign Will Fuller and draft Dotson) Rodgers needs to be in camp and actually play during the preseason to get used to these new players.

Legit wish they would/could trade Rodgers to Jacksonville or Detroit for their first 2 picks in the draft. They really should just do a rebuild and get out of cap hell in the process.

Also like $125 mil in dead money if they traded him.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

As good as Rodgers is, if the Packers don't win a Super Bowl, it is now 100% on him. Other players restructure their contract to help their team sign more players. Rodgers restructures his contract to take up more salary cap and have to trade/cut their best players. Winning a Super Bowl is clearly not as important to him as many other players in this league. I honestly wish the Packers would have traded him to give the Packers head start in a rebuild. I don't see this team winning a super bowl with its current roster.

Some of your blame game better fall on HC MLF he has totally crapped himself last 2 years. This year was especially concerning with some of his decisions n play calls.Yes rodgers needs n should take some blame but this is no way all on him.FYI he had a very low cap hit this year he opeaned up 22 million ro help the packers keep everyone.
Thought they did a great job keeping everyone
