I doubt this will ever pass but is a fun idea.

Does this even effect the the effect of the coin toss? Seems like they'd just be cutting out kickoffs

From an article I read that described it is way more like the show 'name that tune'....Team 1 picks the yard and they estimated that the 14 yard line will be the over / under. Team 2 picks to play offense or defense.

Actually really like the idea

It is for me too. Cardinals finished 8-8 after a 5-2 start, and their 5-2 start had a fluky How the **** is this team 5-2?? feel to it. The Cardinals only beat 2 playoff teams last season, 1 on a hail Mary (Bills) and the other in overtime (Seahawks). I find it laughable that anyone would think they are legit contenders.. You can make a stronger case that they are the 4th best team in their division.

The Cardinals remind me of the Kings in the NBA, they're kind of a fun team to watch and they have a couple nice players, but they suck lol.

Half the playoff teams change from season to season in the NFL so contender talk is always kind of silly. Sure you usually have a couple teams that look above the rest but an injury or two can change that in a hurry.

Easier to build a team with a QB on a rookie deal

Chandler Jones is a beast and only played 5 games for the Cards last year because of injuries. He and Watt could be formidable along the line together.

I am shocked Jerry paid him that much.

Not saying it's a bad move. If he recovers, Dak could be enough to win that division with the weapons they have.

Jerry's no kid (he's 78), and he never had much patience to begin with. I'd bet a part of this is he has no interest in starting over with a new QB, and the available top vets are going to be mighty expensive.

*edit* Does Jerry stick with Andy Dalton as the backup?

Happy for Dak. Seems like a good dude who got screwed over. I don’t think that’s going to work out for dallas.

Man, Isaiah Wilson immediately jumps to list of worst draft picks of all-time.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to trade Isaiah Wilson, their first-round pick last year, to the Miami Dolphins, sources told ESPN on Monday.

The Titans will send a seventh-round pick in 2022 and Wilson to Miami for a 2021 seventh-rounder to complete the deal, sources said.

Wilson will need to pass his physical in Miami once the new league year begins next week for the trade to be officially completed. If he doesn't, he would revert back to the Titans.

Jesus. I haven't really paid him much attention but just how bad of a year can you have to go from 1st rounder to not even worth a 7th by yourself

Team we trade him to is only on the hook for $8M this year, right?
Edit: never mind, $12M this year with $4M due the end of March. That’s ugly.

I mean, the kid consistently got caught breaking COVID protocol and then managed to get himself a DUI. How many times do you have to tell a kid, "Yo, stop getting caught partying maskless, we're trying to get a season done here," before you just straight up cut bait?

Lavonte David 2/25 mil. Can't believe he gave TB such a huge discount. At his age and position, this might have been a last chance at a big pay day.
