Ray Ray McCloud was the other guy I was interested in but he went to the niners. Need to address it in the draft. Looking at the top WR, looks like Jameson Williams has Kick Return experience and Garrett Wilson has punt returning experience.
I have mentioned it before but Velus Jones JR would solve our MVS field stretcher, kick returner and punt returner all in one. A bit older of a prospect but legit 4.3 speed and good size. I think I'd be ok with using a third to get him.Spoiler:
Yeah, seems like a guy who would be a pretty safe bet to help the team in multiple areas of need. His upside may be limited by size, although he's listed bigger than he looks on the field to me, but they're obviously in a position where they can justify "getting on base or advancing the runners" instead of swinging for the fences.
ETA: I guess he's a legit 6'0, 200 pounds. Makes you wonder why he hasn't been a little more productive. I think 3rd-round might be too high for him.
You might be right, lets say fourth though. He day one gives you (probably?) a plus kick returner, a plus punt returner, a starting gunner and a big play deep threat. Those are legit all needs on this roster, if we can find one guy to plug that many roles, feels like a win.
