2022 Draft Picks:

1. First round, No. 22 overall
2. First round, No. 28 overall
3. Second round, No. 53 overall
4. Second round, No. 59 overall
5. Third round, No. 92 overall
6. Fourth round, No. 132 overall
7. Fourth round, No. 140 overall (compensatory)
8. Fifth round, No. 171 overall
9. Seventh round, No. 228 overall
10. Seventh round, No. 249 overall
11. Seventh round, No. 258 overall (compensatory)

I was in favor of keeping Rodgers but imagine how much fun draft day would've been. 7 picks in first 92? Just nuts.

Man I like Christian Watson a ton but don’t think he makes it to our 2nds.

At this point, if Jameson is there at 22 I’m taking him. I know he won’t be healthy to start season but I think he’s clearly the best WR in this draft. I then double down in the second with Watson or Moore.

Ideally we add a DL and a T with the other two top 4 picks.

It is absolutely imperative that we get Rodgers a WR that can make some plays in this draft.

Williams has a gear that most players just don't have - if he's there and ahead of schedule to me it's a no brainer. Dude also returned kicks in college which lord knows we could use.

Either of the Ohio St guys could step in and make a big difference. Got some Jordy Nelson vibes watching Drake London.

I'm hoping for one of those 4

My last WR crush was Aj Brown. I wanted him at 12 when we took Gary. Right away Gary looked lost and Aj Brown has blossomed into a star. Now Gary is a budding star and it certainly looks fine. Now, Jameson Williams gets his shot.

Any offensive star at Alabama that’s willing to play gunner on punts just to run down the field and blast someone is a straight menace to society. He has that Pj Tucker dog in him and that edge when he plays. Not to mention his speed is something I might not have seen since Chris Johnson. He’s the total package and I wouldn’t worry 1 bit about his slender frame. A pro off-season will have 5-7lbs of muscle on him almost right away. If we stay at 22, I PRAY he’s our guy. He’s got that Jamar Chase game breaker big play ability. He’ll make everyone forget about DA sooner rather than later.

I saw a mock on Sporting News we took Jameson 22 and Treylon 28. Lol that’s a wet dream 1st day

I did one and kept getting trade-down offers for future firsts. Basically had no picks in the first 2 rounds but a bunch of 3rd/4ths and 7 firsts in 2023 including Jets, Steelers, Jags, Bears, Vikings, Eagles, and my own.

I'll be stunned if Olave makes it to 28.

I don't think the Packers should wait until 28 for a WR. There are two things going against them in this draft:

1. Lack of attractive 1st round QB options that would normally push WR further down the board
2. Pretty much all the teams between their 22nd and 28th picks have to replace a significant or somewhat relevant WR they lost this offseason

Don't wait until 28. Nab your guy at 22.

Just the way the sim fell. They had Garrett Wilson falling too but did another one right after and Olave was gone at 21 lol.

If you believe this Williams will be cleared by training camp

Ok, I'm hopping on the Williams train. My only real hesitation was writing off a year when Rodgers needs guys to throw to.

I'd be pretty okay with moving up for Williams tbh. I think he fills that MVS role easily his rookie year and obviously has a lot more potential. Still think you need two wr's early this year though. If you can manage a 2nd for Love...

Anybody else like CJ Verdell from Oregon? He's tiny, but has a crazy burst and is strong.

I wonder if Gutey has gotten an in-depth look at George Pickens since he’d been scouting Stokes at Georgia. I love not only his size & athletic ability, but also what seem to be solid intangibles as well. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a Packer. Wouldn’t be the first time we’d double dip from a particular school in consecutive years.

(And by intangibles, I mean his competitiveness, I have no idea what his character is like.)

Questionable…

“During his two-year career, Pickens has been guilty of dubious decision-making in several incidents. In 2019, he was suspended by the program for the first half against Georgia Tech due to a violation of team rules. When he made it to the field, he was ejected for throwing punches at Tre Swilling. Last season, he drew an unsportsmanlike penalty against Tennessee.

Pickens was branded “selfish” and “undisciplined” by his head coach following the Georgia Tech incident. Those are two attributes that won’t endear him to NFL teams and coaches, and it could ultimately see red flags raised against his name.”

Can I also add that I have pretty much no idea about any of these dudes. They all look pretty good in their highlight packages. You know who I was excited about last year? Amari Rodgers. A few years before that? J’Mon Moore, who looked pretty darn good in his YouTube videos, lol

Pickens might be available with one of our 2nd (or even 3rd) round picks. Jameson Williams probably won't.

there is no way I'd move up to take him. He could easily fall to 22 if not 28.
